Our primary ingredient in all our mixes is Canadian Sphagnum peat moss specially selected and screened in order to provide optimum air capacity and uniform moisture retention. Our exclusive organic black peat ingredient is a source of Humic and Fulvic acids. These acids are formed from the decomposition of plant material, and are safe to handle. They are found in most ground soil, only in very low concentrations. Black peat enhances plant food and water uptake necessary for optimum performance. This peat helps to reduce the stress that occurs during transplanting, while encouraging rapid and healthy growth. We also use a complete fertilizer, containing major and minor trace elements to provide optimum nutrition right from the start.
