The bids of Aqua Plumbing and Air, Babe s Plumbing, Inc., Circle Plumbing, Inc., and Daniel s Plumbing Service, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications. The bid of Apollo Construction and Engineering Services, Inc., was non-responsive to the requirement that plumbing services must be the primary business of the Contractor. This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the protest Not to exceed Requested by: bond or other security required by law Fiscal Impact: $300,000.00 Jody Dumas within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120.
