Construction Rugged, cast aluminium chassis, used with quality, recyclable, impact grade plastics. Cast aluminium powder coat chassis, and quality plastics provide best protection against corrosion, abrasion and impact damage. Chassis is precision machined to provide a perfect surface for pulley alignment and tracking. Improved product reliability. Extended product life, with reduced maintenance saves on operational, R & M (repair and maintenance) costs. Environmentally friendly plastics. Belt life is extended reducing R & M costs. Main Motor 4 pole 1500W induction motor that can operate 220V a.c. 240V a.c. 50Hz - 60 Hz power supply. Most powerful single phase induction motor on the market, with the greatest working capacity. Vacuum Motor (G-Force & Fusion-FX Models) The G-Force uses an electronically controlled 850W vacuum motor enabling 2 speed operation. Fusion-FX uses the same model but only has one speed variant. Electronic motor speed control reduces vacuum motor noise via voltage and frequency regulation. Unsurpassed working capacity, provides cleaning productivity at a wide range of voltages. This is a major advantage in low voltage areas. Powerful motors do not labour as much as less powerful ones, so their life is not compromised to the same extent when loaded. Improved product reliability and reduced R & M costs. Low speed is suited to applications requiring quiet operation e.g. hospitals. High speed is used for applications with heavier pickup, e.g. sanding applications. File: PolisherFAB Page: 2 of 10
Vacuum Inlet System & Floating Skirt. G-Force General arrangement The vacuum system consists of an adjustable spring loaded inlet hose, attached to a floating skirt with an intake chute, fastened to the polisher chassis; this arrangement provides constant dust control even when heeling the machine. The vacuum intake chute is tangential to the brush rotation and contacts the floor. The wave profile minimizes noise when in contact with the floor. Attachment of the chute to skirt requires no fasteners and is easy to replace. Constant dust control and performance. Enhanced debris pickup eliminates post dust mopping which reduces operation costs. Saves on R & M costs. Skirt attachment The skirt system is conical in shape and fits external to the bumper by means of a Velcro strip. This minimizes skirt entrapment under the machine and enables easy replacement. The bumper protects the skirt from impact damage. Reduce damage to skirt when machine is in storage, saves on R & M costs. Minimises skirt damage when in service File: PolisherFAB Page: 3 of 10
Drive System HTD (High Torque Drive) Fusion-FX Burnisher, G-Force & Focus, Scrubber/Polishers HTD drive and HP belts provide 18 times longer life (approx 3,000hrs) and 3½ times more power than standard timing belts. The pulleys are precision machine cut, and laser aligned ensuring perfect balance. The pulleys are cut from a high carbon, hardened steel that minimizes wear. Pulley flanges are configured so belts cannot slip off the drive. Fully sealed bearings in the drive to improve life. Belt tensioning facilities are provided on the chassis. Omega HP (High Performance) Belts Belts use high strength glass fibre cord, with high flexibility and low stretch, Belts are resistant to oil, heat, cold, ozone and tropical conditions. Electrical conductivity of the belts (anti static properties) does not cause sparking. Tooth profile with indented tooth tip reduces belt noise. Belts are laser cut, eliminating feathering and delamination at the edges, and ensure true running. Belts are factory set and precisely tensioned ensuring optimum belt life. Pulley Guard (Focus Models) Protects drive system from splashing and dirt ingress, and reduces drive noise. Reduce R & M costs Reduce hand vibration. High levels of prolonged hand vibration can lead to bone disorders. Reduced R & M costs Reduced Service costs Reduced R & M costs Servicing aid that reduces Service costs. Solution Dispensing (Focus & G-Force Suds Models) Solution dispensing is left thumb activated at the handle, an IR (infra-red) beam is sent from handle to a receiver at the motor activating a solenoid valve that allows small controlled amounts of solution to be dispersed centrally over the brush/pad/bonnet. Better control over dispensing small amounts of solution eliminating flooding problems common to manual systems. Ideal for carpet cleaning industry using bonnets. Enables bonnets to be kept wet all the time. Hose and water configuration, eliminates water blockage issues associated with systems that use small bore hoses and nozzles. Low profile tank outlet allows full tank capacity can be used. Tank can easily be drained. Centralized over the brush/pad dispensing provides uniform wetting and improves cleaning performance File: PolisherFAB Page: 5 of 10
Ergonomic - Handle Design Handle shape encourages elbows to be tucked in, straight wrists, and handle positioned closer to the body, providing better control and reducing operator fatigue. T shape handle designs position the operator s elbows away from the body, increasing fatigue and providing less machine control. Reducing fatigue decreases muscular strain and promotes better operator concentration for improved productivity. Ergonomic hand positioning and better operator posture reduces OOS (Occupational Overuse Syndrome), decreasing Worker Compensation claims and lost time through operator injury. Ergonomic - Handle Height Adjustment Handle is infinitely adjustable from horizontal to vertical. Adjustment uses a lever mechanism similar operating principle to a car door latch. Simple handle adjustment encourages the operator to optimize the handle height to suit personal needs, providing excellent machine control. The handle can be optimized to suit the operator increasing comfort, reducing fatigue, increasing productivity, and providing better machine control. Ergonomic - Handle Length The handle length has been increased - this provides greater leverage for the operator, i.e. less effort is required by the operator to counter the forces at the brush. The handle length is standard for all models and allows fitting of a solution tank. Greater machine control with less effort reduces operator fatigue and increases productivity. Reduced spare parts save on inventory and storage space. File: PolisherFAB Page: 6 of 10
Ergonomic Soft Handle Grip Soft TPE (thermo-plastic elastomer), inert material with high endurance limit, has a long life, and prevents soft tissue damage to hands. Grips increase comfort and reduce hand fatigue. Soft, robust and elastic material with resistance to chemicals that may be transferred from operator s hand. Soft nature of material reduces likelihood of OOS, and that reduces Workers Compensation claims and lost employee time through injury. Ergonomic Switches and Safety Controls. Control Switches Safety Controls Switches are positioned so operator s grip never needs to leave the machine from start to end of cleaning process, and (where fitted) never has to release the grip to perform a switching function for vacuum or dispensing operations. Lever switch allows multiple ambidextrous finger use for machine starting and ongoing operation. Where fitted, vacuum and solution dispensing is thumb activated. Right thumb for vacuum activation and toggling vacuuming speed, left hand thumb for activation of solution dispensing. Four button switching eliminates accidental start up, by untrained operators or children. Releasing all hand grips automatically stops the machine. G-Force Suds models, solution dispensing is cancelled when vacuum is initiated, and if vacuum is running solution dispensing cannot be initiated. The operator is always in control of the machine, irrespective of switching function requirements. This reduces Worker Compensation claims and lost time through injury. Reduces likelihood of OOS, and that reduces Workers Compensation claims and lost time through injury. The operator is always in control of the machine, irrespective of switching function requirements. This reduces Worker Compensation claims and lost time through injury. Eliminates accidental start up, and improves machine safety. Emergency stop improves safety. Inbuilt safety interlock reduces likelihood of sucking water into vacuum motor resulting in an additional service cost and part replacement. File: PolisherFAB Page: 7 of 10

Pad Pressure Indication on Fusion-FX models. Red indication decrease pressure, yellow indication increase pressure, green is ideal pressure. The display provides condition monitoring information for the user, to ensure process control. Ergonomic Cord Holder & Release Allows the operator to quickly release the cord from the machine, eliminating the need for prolonged bending when unwinding. Monitor process and machine status, adjust settings to optimise machine performance where applicable. Reduces Manual Handling injuries (back injuries) because there is less bending. Ergonomic Internal Electrical Cord Electrical wiring is run internally in the handle reducing the likelihood of cable entanglement by the operator Reduces tripping and entanglement hazards, and improves electrical safety. Many imported machines run cables externally, because the vacuum system is an add on. File: PolisherFAB Page: 8 of 10
Ergonomic Wheel Retraction The G-Force and Focus Models are provided with retractable wheels, the offset wheel axle is rotated out of the way at the start of the cleaning process with a light foot action to only allow contact of brushes and pads with the floor. On Focus models, wheel retraction provides extra clearance for attachments that extend beyond the framework of the machine such as carpet bonnets. Marking from wheels has been eliminated, and the cleaning process has been improved. Ergonomic Handling, Packaging, Commissioning Single piece, twin core corrugated cardboard packaging of the Handle and Chassis, provides protection during transport. Illustrated two man lifting method, and use of hand holes, to minimize manual handling injuries. Pre-wired handle to the chassis, arranged and packaged as shown, expedites preassembly and machine commissioning.
