Home Reno Enhancements HRR is now enhanced with the Green Investment Funds from the Ministry of Energy, which means: Higher rebate cap Bonus Incentives Higher rebates per measure Expanded program Additional territories - UG & non-ug customers Additional fuels for heating Smart Thermostat 2
Customer Eligibility Criteria You qualify if you: Heat your home with a natural gas, oil or propane furnace/ boiler; or wood stove (electric customers are not eligible) Own a detached or semi-detached home, row/town house, or mobile home Do an energy assessment both before and after your renovation. Complete at least two eligible renovations 3
Home Reno Enhancements Higher rebate cap Customers will now be able to receive up to $5,000 back for eligible renovations Includes up to $500 Pre and Post Assessments (HST paid by customer) Does not include $100 for Smart Thermostat 4
Home Reno Enhancements Bonus Incentive A bonus rebate of $250 per measure calculated for 3+ measures Examples: If a customer completed 3 measures, they will be eligible for $250 If a customer completed 4 measures, they will be eligible for $500, and so on 5

Home Reno Enhancements Smart Thermostat Home Reno customers ONLY completed the post assessment are eligible for a rebate of $100 towards the purchase of a Smart Thermostat Please note that Smart Thermostat does not count as a measure and the $100 does not count towards the $5,000 rebate cap 10

Smart Thermostat Criteria Available only to Home Reno customers completing the E assessment. Smart Thermostat must be purchased after the D assessment date Completed coupon with proof of purchase (receipt & UPC code) must be mailed to UG no later than 60 from the E assessment date. Payments UG customers will receive a bill credit within 120 days. Non UG customers will receive a separate cheque by mail within 120 days (different cheque than the HRR one). Please make sure to fill out the D file number and date fields for the customer. 15
Documentation Required For customers with an active Union Gas account, there is no change to current requirements For customers that do not have an active Union Gas account, Union will require some additional documents to be collected in addition to the current process in place. o Participant owns and lives at the address; cheque is payable to the participant. A copy of the most recent property tax bill is required to validate that the participant owns the property o Participant owns the property but has rented it out. Cheque is payable to the participant but at his mailing address (different from the participating home address) A copy of the most recent property tax bill is required to validate that the participant owns the property/ participating home A valid address proof if cheque has to be mailed to a different address - proof of address should have participant s name and mailing address clearly stated. For example, most recent hydro/ utility bill for mailing address (current residence where cheque to be mailed) or driver s license with mailing address. 16
