TECHNOLOGY Domaplasma BV specializes in development and manufacturing of highly efficient air purification systems for over twelve years. With the various models of the Domaplasma -IQ family, which have been designed for recirculating air operation of cooker hoods in private households, excellent products in air purification based on plasma technology are available. The various Domaplasma -IQ models can also be made to measure (in larger series) and can be combined with many types and models of cooker hoods from various manufacturers. (Domaplasma is a Dutch design, quality made in our own VDE-certified factory in Germany). This chain reaction is a cold oxidation process, which reacts with the oxidation products of the organic substances. As residues the Domaplasma system discharges oxygen, carbon dioxide and water vapor, odours are eliminated. All Domaplasma -IQ family models are very efficient and produce high-voltage power of approximately 2.5 to 2.8 kilovolts with a very low total energy consumption of about 10 watts per hour/unit. The Domaplasma odour filters are universally applicable by use of a robust but very sensitive internal pressure sensor, as well as an autonomous power connection and therefore are fully independent of the electronic control of the cooker hood. The unique Domaplasma low-temperature plasma technology is very effective, highly customizable, versatile and extremely energy efficient. Domaplasma BV is the only company in the market that offers an air purification system for cooker hoods, that has received VDE & CB certification for the entire IQ-product family. The various models of the Domaplasma -IQ series are the ultimate solution for household air purification. As template for the Domaplasma plasma technology served Mother Nature, who successfully cleaned our atmosphere for several million years according to a similar process. The difference lies in the energy source: instead of sunlight in nature, Domaplasma uses high-voltage as energy source. The use of high-voltage energy generates a so-called cold plasma within the Domaplasma unit, in which oxygen and water molecules are placed in an unstable position and thus both singlet oxygen and hydroxyl radicals are released. In the Domaplasma -IQ units, these hydroxyl radicals react instantly with organic substances (odour molecules and various microorganisms, such as bacteria, mould spores, allergens or viruses) which enter the Domaplasma system along with the aspirated kitchen air.
CERTIFICATIONS All Domaplasma odour filter models have been tested thorougly and extensively in special test chambers by one of the most important European test institutes; the VDE, this in accordance with very strict IEC-DIN-EN standards. The official results are that the complete family of Domaplasma odour plasmafilters meets all relevant safety standards, is completely free of any hazardous emissions and thus is the only plasma filter range suitable for household use that have been tested by the VDE as absolutely safe and harmless, also after proven many thousand hours of long time use. The relevant norms to which all Domaplasma odour filters have been tested: DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 0700-1):2012-10; EN 60335-1:2012 DIN EN 60335-1 Ber. 1 (VDE 0700-1 Ber. 1):2014-04; EN 60335-1:2012/AC:2014 EN60335-1:2012/A11:2014 DIN EN 60335-2-31 (VDE 0700-31):2015-06; EN 60335-2-31:2014 The following models of the Domaplasma odour filter unit series have passed all relevant VDE/CB tests: Domaplasma-IQ500 Domaplasma-IQ650 Domaplasma-IQ850 Domaplasma-IQS650 / 850 Domaplasma-IQT500 VDE CERTIFIED AIR CLEANING POWER FROM SAFE DOMAPLASMA In addition, tests regarding ozone emission were carried out by VDE according to the standard DIN EN 60335-2-65. This test was meant to check whether the products don t exceed the maximum ozone concentration of 0.05 ppm (parts per million). All models have proven to be well below this maximum and thus are compliant with the most strict requirements. See the VDE test logs. By fulfilling all requirements for the Domaplasma odour filters, based on the above-mentioned methods, standards and guidelines, all models of the Domaplasma odour filter family are certified internationally with the CB test reports and thus can be exported and used worldwide (in 220-240V areas).
Domaplasma -IQ The Domaplasma -IQ is suitable for installation in the chimney of a wall or island hood or in combination with ceiling hoods. The various Domaplasma -IQ models can be used in all sorts of recirculating cooker hoods of many manufacturers and are easy to install in wall and island hoods. The Domaplasma -IQ is available in three models with recirculating air capacities from 400 up to 1.060 m3/hour. Note! Domaplasma-IQ plasma units should preferably be used in upper chimneys with minimum cross sections of W265 x D240 mm. All Domaplasma odour filters switch on and off automatically!

The Domaplasma -IQT unit can be combined with all sorts of recirculating builtin cooker hoods of many manufacturers and are easy to install. As the Domaplasma -IQT unit has a height of only 22 cm, it can be combined with many built-in recirculation cooker hoods in relatively low cabinets. The Domaplasma -IQT is specially designed for a blower capacity of 400-650 m3/hour. Domaplasma odour filters switch on and off automatically! Arrange for recirculation vents in of the cupboard with a minimum free ventilation surface of 500 cm2
The two models Domaplasma -IQS are suitable for recirculating cooktop cooker hoods, downdrafts or ceiling hoods. Both Domaplasma -IQS models can be used in niches, suspended ceilings, kitchen bases/plinths or cupboards. The Domaplasma -IQS are available with a recirculating air capacity of 650 up to 1.060 m3/hour. Both Domaplasma -IQS models fit, because of their low height of only 98 mm, excellently in narrow spaces, even when necessary in an upright/upstream position in kitchen cupboards. PROCESS PHASE 1: In a unique hybrid combination of a metal grease filter with the Hyabsorb fine filter, solid particles, grease and fat parts, oils and other pollutants from the cooking fumes and by the way even from the entrained air are removed; PHASE 2 & 3: Inside the unit, within the Domaplasma catalyser the odours as well as micro-organisms, such as bacteria, mould spores, allergens and viruses are removed by different and complex high-voltage reaction and oxidation processes, and partially decomposed into individual molecules; HOW DOES DOMAPLASMA AIR PURIFICATION WORK? PHASE 4: The second stage of the oxidation process in the catalyst removes, based on the longer residence time, the remaining odour molecules FINAL PHASE: The result of the Domaplasma process is that the air is purified of fats, oils and odours. Even microorganisms such as bacteria, mould spores, allergens and viruses will be destroyed. The Domaplasma air purification system for cleaning air has been tested by the VDE and has been found to be free of any hazardous emissions.
