We have recycled 380,000 tons of packaging waste in 10 years This means saving 1087,000 m3 of landfill space, the equivalent of 435 Olympic size swimming pools! It also means savings of 327,000 tons of CO2, limiting the carbon footprint of our island! Every year now, with our operation, we save 250,000 m3 of landfill space more, and 145,000 tons of CO2 This is the equivalent of taking 380,000 cars off the roads every year! Calculations are made using EPA s WARM model

PMD & Paper Collection In Urban Areas PMD and Paper streams are collected door-to-door, from the pavement once a week. The packaging has to be placed in the special Paper and PMD bags, which are available in the supermarkets. This means that there is no need for a recycling bin to be placed outside of your house.
Glass Recycling in Urban Areas Glass is collected from the bell-shaped green bins located in central points.
Packaging Collection in Touristic and Rural Areas After sorting the packaging, citizens should transport it to the bring point and place it in the correct bin.
