Her broad-minded yet pragmatic ideas pave the way to handle challenges related to the planning, design, and construction of many project types adeptly. Elaine Kearney, PLA Managing Principal of the San Antonio office for TBG Partners elaine.kearney@tbgpartners.com Elaine Kearney, PLA, leads the TBG San Antonio office as Managing Principal, balancing business development and industry engagement efforts with office management and project assignments. She brings a sophisticated design perspective to each project that reflects her wide-ranging professional and academic experience. Her background includes design, project management and academic engagements at universities and firms spanning from Harvard to the Pacific Northwest. Elaine is experienced with managing projects though all phases of the development process from initial concept exploration and design development to documentation, coordination and construction phase services. She has also spoken at conferences and written articles on a variety of topics, including many engagements focused on green roof design and application. She received her Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard University s Graduate School of Design and her Bachelor of Arts Magna Cum Laude from Trinity University in San Antonio. She is licensed as a Professional Landscape Architect in Texas and Oregon and maintains involvement in the Urban Land Institute s San Antonio chapter.
Cassie Branum ACIP, LEED AP Associate Principal in the Atlanta office of Perkins + Will Cassie.Branum@perkinswill.com Cassie is a multi-faceted designer with expertise in the fields of interior design, architecture, city planning and graphic design. As an urban designer, she draws on her knowledge of these disciplines to solve specific problems and challenges that cities face at every scale. Directing large and complex interdisciplinary efforts, Cassie works with clients and design teams that span continents and project types. Globally, she is respected for her ability to build strong relationships, synthesize ideas, achieve consensus and forge new strategies to make great design happen. She drives the creative process towards inventive, implementable design solutions. Cassie is the person you want on your team to ensure vision becomes reality. An emerging thought leader on the Perkins+Will Cities+Sites team, Cassie frequently lectures on the Future of Cities and has been a guest lecturer at the Georgia Institute of Technology since 2010. These opportunities allow her to link her passion for unique places, experiences and cultures with current urban challenges.
