Requirements for permits and plan approvals vary across the country so it is very important for each restaurant operator to consult with a licensed general contractor and local regulatory authorities to find out what is required prior to installation of the Improved Holding Cabinets. Each restaurant operator is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including obtaining any required permits or approvals. Site Evaluation 1. ELECTRICAL: Units cord is 10 feet long with a NEMA L5-20 twist-lock plug. Each unit must have it s own 20Amp dedicated circuit with a NEMA L5-20 twist-lock receptacle. Use plumbing parts menu sheet 1A to determine the type of fittings required to adapt the existing water stub out to a ¼ hose barb fitting. Plumbing parts from ¼ hose barb fitting to the unit are shown on menu sheet 1B with separate valves for each unit for ease of service. Estimate the length of ¼ hose required to hook up the units. 3. DRAIN CONNECTION: For Existing Table Installation: (Use 5/8" Reinforced tubing) Estimate length of 5/8" tubing to run each unit separately to the floor drain through table access holes. See plumbing parts menu sheet 1D. For FWE Table Installation: (Use 1" PVC hose) Table drain connection is located just above the floor in the middle of the table. Estimate length of 1" Tubing required to run one drain line from this fitting to the floor drain. (Note: 5/8 tubing used to connect units to table drain is included with the table hardware.)
