1. PRESENTATION OF THE CONTROL PANEL 1.1 IMPORTANT The thermostat does not cut the power supply to the appliance. 1.2 CONTROL PANEL 3 7 1 2 6 5 1/ On/Off switch. 2/ Power-on led. 3/ Security thermostat reset switch. In order to avoid problems of overheating, (air turbine shut-down or defective, thermostat out of adjustement or defective) the system is equipped with a manual reset security thermostat with a fixed set-point of 110 C. When the thermostat is actuated, it cuts out the power supply to the resistances, turbine(s), hygrometer (see model) and the red led lights up. To reset the thermostat, wait a few minutes and press the button. 4/ Security led. It only switches off when the security thermostat has been reset. 5/ Thermometer indicating cabinet interior temperature. 6/ Ambient thermostat, max. set-point set in factory at +85 C. NOTE : The constructor is not responsible if the factory set-point is changed. 7/ On/Off hygrometer switch (see model). In the "ON" position, the hygrometer operates continuously. 4 User Manual n 648259 Page 3
2. USE 2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS When operating for the first time or after a prolonged period out of use the unit should be run empty. Items should only be loaded when the set temperature has been reached. The security thermostat will operate if too hot products are stored. 2.2 LOADING A space of at least 15 mm is required between each item to allow refrigerated air to pass around the products. NOTE : To respect performance, the operating characteristics are given for covered dishes. 2.3 VENTILATION The ventilation is ensured by the air turbine(s). Warning: their sense of rotation is indicated on the motor. WARNING: The motor of the air turbine, which is equipped with a cooling turbine, is located on the top of the cabinet. It is therefore recommended to switch off the cabinet before any intervention. 2.4 HEATING The power supply to the resistances is controlled by the ambient thermostat. NOTA : When the door(s) is/are opened, the power to the ventilation, heating and hygrometer (see model) is cut. The cabinet will operate correctly only if the factory settings are maintained. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any defective operation resulting from changes made to these settings. User Manual n 648259 Page 4

2. INSTALLATION 2.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The appliance must be installed, modified and repaired by a specialized engineer in accordance with current regulations. 2.2 HANDLING The appliance must be handled with suitable lifting equipment, transported on its original pallet and not stacked. If moving the appliance without its pallet, it must be carried and not pulled. 2.3 UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION 2.3.1 LOCATION IMPORTANT : Roll in cabinets do not have adjustable feet, therefore they must be placed on a smooth and level floor. 2.3.2 UNPACKING After unpacking, slide the cabinet off its pallet. Ensure that the weight of the cabinet is evenly distributed. SILICONE SOCLE PALETTE When the cabinet is in its final location, remove the handling stiffener(s) located inside and apply silicon mastic between the base and the floor. Instructions Manual n 648259 Page 5
2.4 DISMANTLING THE CABINET The design allows the cabinet to be dismantled if required for access. 1) Remove the door hinges. 2) Undo the upper control panel screws and rest the panel on the top of the appliance to avoid disconnecting it) 3) Remove the top assembly by unscrewing the 3 screws on each side and on twin trolley models unlocking the verticals using an Allen key. 4) Undo and remove the following : - the rear on roll in models - the vertical on twin trolley models - the sides 2.5 ASSEMBLING THE CABINET NOTA : Factory non-assembled units arrive in two cases. One contains the base, the equipped top, control panel and fixings. The other the panels (sides, door(s), rear, verticals) and fixings. The electrics and refrigeration do not require installation. During assembly, apply a bead of silicone to the panels to ensure a good seal. 1) Put the base on the floor and fit the 8 mm studs into the assembly positions. 2) Locate the side panels, adjust the fit then lock them to the base using an Allen key (Turn clockwise until a click is heard) 3) Lock the side panels together. 4) On twin trolley models, fit 8 mm studs into the top of the verticals. 5) Put the equipped top onto and between the sides ensuring that they stay in position until fixed using the 6 HM8x70 screws and washers, do not fully tighten. 6) Lock the verticals into the top. 7) Slide the control panel into its top locating grooves then fix using the 2 HM6x10 screws 8) Fit the doors to their hinges Finish by tightening carefully then fit covers to all the assembly holes.
