Sun Guidelines Shade / Low Light Plants in this category need little light. They like a northern exposure and can survive with just fluorescent lighting. For outdoor use Low Light = Shade Partial Shade / Medium Light Plants in this category like diffused or moderate lighting. They do well in a bright western exposure or moderate eastern exposure. For outdoor use Medium Light = Partial Shade Full Sun / Bright Light Plants in this category need full sun. They prefer a southern or very bright eastern exposure. Windows with no curtains or blinds would be ideal. For outdoor use Bright Light = Full Sun. Watering Guidelines Light Water Plants in this category should completely dry out but not to the point where the soil shrinks from the sides of the pot Moderate Water Plants in this category should slightly dry out.
