Low power consumption TECHNOLOGY In a traditional solar system the refrigerator is backed up by batteries to make sure that during periods of little or no sunshine the system continues to work properly. However, batteries are a weak and expensive component in such installations. In instances of little or no sunshine, the ice is capable of maintaining the refrigerator temperature for 81 hours = 3,3 days. No traditional battery needed! Plug & Play PREPARATION Ice lining The TCW2000SDD is fully prepared when shipped for operation. The ice lining is ready to be installed and filled with water, both for the refrigerator and freezer section. Refrigerator section ice lining The refrigerator ice lining consists of 4 ice packs, each containing about 4L of water. The ice packs are covered by an EPP insulation. Freezing of Icepacks Storage of 16 ice packs: 4 X 3 ice packs in storage 4 new ice packs to be frozen every day once the maximum storage capacity has been reached OPERATION The TCW2000SDD has 2 controls: one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer Refrigerator and freezer can be operated independently, each have their own power switch Preset temperature for the refrigerator is 5 C; for the freezer it is -25 C Refrigerator Control Freezer Control Page: 4 18.11.18
