IX. Precautions for installation and commissioning Precautions for product installation: 1. The equipment shall be installed in a sunny day with sufficient daylight. Please carefully go through this instruction before the installation. 2. Before installing the solar panel, please carefully learn the accompanying installation video. 3. Confirm if the solar panel is installed on the solid ground. The open space which is not easily to be shielded and is easy to be scrubbed is recommended. 4. Select the installation angle matching with the local lighting conditions. 1) The solar panel shall face to the equator. Namely, it shall face toward the south direction in the Northern Hemisphere and toward the north in the Southern Hemisphere. 2) The dip angle of the solar panel is subject to the terrestrial latitude of the installation location. The general dip angle of the solar panel is as shown in the figure below. 3) For the user near the equator, the installation angle of the solar panel shall not be too small, to ensure that the rainwater can smoothly flow down. 5. The ground rod shall be inserted into the ground at the depth of 1.5m and be spaced to those of other products by 2m at least. The ground lead shall be firmly fixed. 6. The refrigerator shall be placed in the cool and well-ventilated location and be kept away from the direct solar radiation. The ground shall be flat. The refrigerator shall be installed in such a way that each side shall be distanced by 15cm from the wall at least, to guarantee the good radiation. The ground shall be kept clean, to avoid the blockage of the front and rear cabin. 7. Precautions for water feeding of water tank: 1) Please go through the stickers on the water tank before feeding water. 2) Pour the corrosion inhibitor into the water tank first and then add the purified water until reaching the water level. 3) Install the water injection plug in place again after feeding the water. 4) Please keep the corrosion inhibitor away from the children and appropriately dispose the empty bottle. 8. This product is supplied without the truckle. Please lift the box body via the lifting handle on both sides in the process of transferring. Do not drag the product by force. Introduce the usage to the user: when the solar panel and the refrigerator are installed in place, please correctly connect the connecting line of the solar panel system as per the requirements. Test the solar connecting line with a multimeter to confirm the anode and the cathode. 21
9. Connect the solar power supply line to the plug of the refrigerator. 10. Open the front shield of the refrigerator cabin, correctly connect the wire, power on the temperature controller and display the current temperature. If no display is given, please immediately cut off the power supply and check the power supply polarity. The water tank temperature is displayed on the upper display, while the freezer temperature is displayed on the lower display. The water tank temperature is displayed on the upper display, while the freezer temperature is displayed on the lower display. Note: for HTC-40 and HTC-110, only the upper screen is applicable. For HTCD-90, the two screens are applicable. X. Replacement guide for key components 10.1 Precautions for disassembly and installation Be sure to disconnect the power plug in the disassembly and installation process; Please install the product in reverse order. Any component must be assembled in its specified locations in the process of installation. 10.2 Disassembly and installation guide for key components Replacement of compressor E-box Fixing bolt x4 Muffler of compressor Exhaust pipe of compressor Process pipe 22
When the compressor fails and the replacement is required, please follow the steps below: 1. Disconnect the plug on the compressor accessories (E-box); 2. Discharge the refrigerant from the refrigerating system via the process pipe (be sure to stay away from the fire); 3. Burn off the exhaust pipe of return-gas box after emptying the refrigerant from the system (rinse the system with nitrogen and burn the pipeline with the welding gun, if possible); 4. Remove the compressor fixing screws (4) with a 10mm open spanner; 5. Replace the compressor with a new one, fix and connect the pipeline as per the original; 6. Replace the process pipe with a new one, pump off the system (until the pressure is below 3p) and re-fill 45g of 600a refrigerant (±1g). 7. Seal the process pipe. Precaution: 1. As the moisture requirement for the system is very strict, the machine pipeline shall be immediately sealed after being opened, to avoid the moisture invade from the air. It is required that each opened pipelined shall be welded within 10min. 2. Before welding the pipeline, be sure to empty the refrigerant in the system. Especially, when spraying the oil mist, the open air shall be avoided, to avoid the fire disaster and the fire blast. As the inflammable and explosive R600a refrigerant is used by the product, be sure to provide the good ventilation in the working environment. Replacement of 15A fuse (in the electric cabinet) The rated current of this fuse is 15A. The fuse is located in the electric cabinet of the refrigerator, which shall be replaced according to the steps below: Fuse size Appearance of fuse 1. Open the rear cover of electric control box; 2. Take out the protective shell of fuse holder; Replacement of fan: When the fan fails and the compressor fails and the replacement is required, please follow the steps below: 1. Disconnect the fan connecting plug on the compressor accessories (E-box); 2. Carefully spread the plastic claws (4 pcs) for clamping the fan and take out the fan. 3. Install a new fan and mind the wind direction of the fan (by blowing to the compressor). 4. Connect the fan connection terminal and mind the cathode and the anode (the red wire is the cathode). 23
Connect the fan terminal on the compressor accessory. The 3rd and 4th terminals are the fan connection terminals. Open the electric cabinet on the back; 2. Take out the connection wire of the temperature controller to be replaced; 3. Replace the failed temperature controller with a new one. 4. Connect to the power supply and select the temperature controller as per the equipment model. Transportation conditions, installation environment and package disassembly 1.
