Important Safety Instructions 1. Disconnect the power plug before dismantling, assembling or before cleaning. 2. Make sure the heater is on a dry and even surface. 3. Always use the heater in an upright position. 4. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance. 5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 7. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet; 8. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower, or a swimming pool; 9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard; 10. Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless it has been checked and tested by a qualified electrician or electrical supplier. 11. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than its intended use. 12. Do not position the appliances in close proximity to curtains or other combustible materials. Keep combustible material such as furniture, cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. at least 1.0m away from the heater. 13. Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by a utility. Assembly Instructions Base nut 1. Remove all items of packaging from the tower ceramic heater. 2. Turn the tower body upside down and remove the base nut. 3. Position the glass base over the post at the bottom of the unit. 4. Screw the base onto the tower body with the supplied base nut. 5. Turn the tower fan back to an upright position. It is now ready for use. 6. Please ensure you remove the remote control from the packaging. base nut Operating Instructions 1. Use in a dry place, free of excessive humidity and water. 2. This unit can be operated by the control panel on the fan or by remote control in the same manner. 3. The power switch (3) must be switched to the on position ( I ) for the unit to work. The unit will sound and is ready for use. Press the power switch to the off position ( O ) to turn the heater off. 4

CONTROL PANEL ON/OFF: Press the ON/OFF button and the machine starts operation at low heating power (1200W), the power indicating light will be on. Press the key again and all functions will be stopped and the unit will go into standby. The power indicating light will be off. IMPORTANT: When you turn the unit off the fan will continue to function for a short period of time to cool the heating element. HEATER: Press the HEATER button to change between LOW (1200W) and HIGH (2400W) power. The LED indicator will change to highlight the heat setting the unit is on accordingly. SWING: Press the SWING button to activate the oscillation function for widespread heat distribution. The LED will illuminate when this function is on. Press again to turn the oscillation function off. TIMER: Press the TIMER button to activate the timer-off function. Each time the button is pressed the timer will increase from 30mins up to a maximum of 7.5 hours. Each press of the button will increase the timer by 30mins. The control panel will show the time of your setting. The unit will turn off automatically according to your timer setting. REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION Open the cover at the back of the remote control and insert 2 x AAA batteries (not supplied). There are 4 keys on the remote control which operates the same as the control panel. Point the remote control to direction of the display window of the heater. The signal distance is about 6 meters. 5

Care and Maintenance 1. Always disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet when cleaning this unit. 2. Light accumulated dust may be removed from the unit with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner using the dusting brush attachment. 3. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit occasionally with a cloth moistened (not dripping wet) with a mild soap solution. Dry the case thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the unit. 4. Avoid the use of gasoline, benzine, thinner etc as they may result in damage to the unit. 5. Clean the air filter monthly if needed. Remove the air filter for cleaning as shown in the diagram. 6. Store the unit in a clean dry place when not in use. Air Filter Filter Cover CAUTION! Do not immerse the fan in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the fan housing as this could create a fire or electric shock hazard. WARNING!
