Before you use the appliance, we recommend that you read through this entire user manual, which provides the description of the appliance and its functions. To avoid the risks that are always present when you use an electrical appliance, it is important that the appliance is installed correctly and that you read the safety instructions carefully to avoid misuse and hazards. We recommend that you keep this instruction booklet for future reference and pass it on to any future owners. After unpacking the appliance, please check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the appliance but contact your local customer care centre. AFTER POSITIONING THE REFRIGERATOR DO NOT PLUG IN FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 HOURS TO ALLOW THE GAS TO SETTLE 1. IMPORTANT CHECK FOR ANY DAMAGES OR MARKS If you find the refrigerator is damaged or marked, you must report it within 7 days if you wish to claim for damage/marks under the manufacturer s warranty. This does not affect your statutory rights. 2. CORRECT USE OF YOUR APPLIANCE Remove all packaging material before using the refrigerator. This includes the foam base and all adhesive tape holding the accessories inside and outside. Clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator with a wet cloth (a little detergent can be added to the water) and then wipe again with a clean cloth. 3. TRANSPORTING When moving do not tilt over more than 45 degrees. 4. WARNING Keep ventilation openings in the appliance or in the built-in-structure clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Do not use electrical appliances inside the appliance. The appliance needs to be unplugged before carrying out any maintenance. If the electrical cord is damaged it must be replaced by a service agent or similarly qualified person. Please handle and dispose of the appliance according to local regulations as it uses flammable gas and refrigerant. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with flammable propellants in this appliance. 5. LOCATION Ensure adequate air circulation around your appliance; do not place the unit near any heat source, direct sunlight, moisture or water to avoid rust and damaging the insulation. Space at top of unit should be at least 30cm, sides and back at least 10cm from wall to allow doors to open and close easily. Install the appliance on a solid level floor. (If not level adjust the leveler) Do not allow the power cable to be compressed by the refrigerator or heavy object which could damage it causing power surges. Before connecting to the power check the voltage and power supply carefully. 6. START USING 1) After opening the refrigerator fix lower cover. 2) Connect to power supply. After connecting to power supply the appliance is in the default status and it shows the actual chilled and frozen temperature. The refrigerator has a power-down Page 2 of 12
memory. The first and every time the unit is turned on it will be set up at the last power-down operation. 3) Model of the refrigerator. You can choose one of the following two models of refrigerators to set up. 1) Intelligent mode: If you do not require any special functions we recommend that you use the intelligent mode as the appliance will work automatically. 2) Manual Mode: You can use the Temperature Control keys to set the temperature. 7. 4. Lock/Unlock a. Press Lock/Unlock key for 3 seconds, this puts the refrigerator into the Locked position. To release the locked position press the key again for 3 seconds and the locked state is released. Page 5 of 12

10. FREEZER COMPARTMENTS The temperature of the freezer compartment keeps food for a longer period of time. Always comply with the storage time marked on food packaging. Recommendation of storage areas. 1. The storage compartments on the door are used for short-term storage 2. The glass shelves are used for storage of fish, meat and ice cream 3. Rotary Ice Maker 4. 11. SHELF ADJUSTEMENT Shelves can be adjusted to accommodate all requirements 12. SAFETY WARNING Refrigerator uses alternating current supply 220v-240v. If voltage fluctuation is large (over 187-264v), it may cause failures such as the unit will not start, main control board and compressor could burn out. If this happens you must install an automatic voltage regulator which is above 1000w. Do not drag the power cord to unplug the unit. Do not let power cords be pinned under the unit. If the power cord gets damaged or worn get them replaced by a qualified service-man Do not store aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance. If there is a gas leak open doors and windows and do not plug in any appliances. Do not use flammable solvent near refrigerator to avoid a fire. To ensure safety do not place any electrical appliances on top of refrigerator. Do not touch icy surface of the freezer with wet hands to avoid frostbite. Do not install the refrigerator in wet areas to protect the electrical insulation of the unit. Maintenance of the refrigerator must be carried out by an approved service agent. Unplug the unit when cleaning or if there is a power failure. When disposing of the refrigerator take off the door and remove the shelves to avoid children getting locked inside unit. This product is to be used for food storage and not the storing of blood, drugs and biological products. 13. THE FOLLOWING FUNCTIONS MUST BE OPERATED UNDER THE UNLOCKED STATE 1. Intelligent Mode a. Press Mode Settings key to select intelligent mode, the icon shows press Lock/Unlock key to confirm, the refrigerator will run according to intelligent mode. 2. Manual Mode a. Press Mode Setting key to select manual mode, the icon shows, press Lock/Unlock to confirm, the refrigerator will run according to manual mode. Page 8 of 12
3. Rapid Cooling Mode a. Press Mode Setting key to select rapid cooling mode, quick cold icon shows, then press lock/unlock key to confirm, the refrigerator will then be operating in rapid cooling mode. 4. Quick Freeze Mode a. Press Mode key to select quick freeze mode, quick freeze icon shows, then press lock/unlock to confirm the refrigerator will be operating in quick freeze mode. 5. Releasing Intelligent, Manual, Rapid Cooling and Quick Freeze Modes. a. To release these modes press Mode Settings to exit from corresponding modes. 6. Refrigerator Compartment Temperature Settings a. Press Refrigerator Temperature setting key once, the key flashes, press temperature key again and you can set the temperature between the range of 2 to 8 7. Freezer Compartment Temperature Settings a. Press Freezer compartment temperature settings key once, the key will flash press again and you can set the temperature between the range of -16 C to - 24 C 8. Power Failure Memory Function a. When the electricity is off the refrigerator locks in the state it is set on, when the power is turned back on it automatically goes to the state it was operating in 9. Inactive Protection Function a. With 5 minutes time-delay circuit and procedures. The compressor s running time intervals is not less than five minutes at any time. 10. Failure Tips a. When the screen displays E1-E6 this indicates that the unit is malfunctioning. Fridge is still able to refrigerate with some failures, but it must be repaired as soon as possible so that the refrigerator operates correctly. 14. Cleaning Remnants of food will cause odours, so it is necessary to clean the inside regularly. For safety unplug the unit before cleaning. Use soft towel or sponge with warm water. Remove any excess water with a dry cloth. Page 10 of 12
16. SPECIFICATION AND REPLACEMENT OF LIGHTS Direct Current 12v LED Turn off power before changing lights. Remove the light cover and loosen screws and remove the LED lights. Replace with new bulbs and tighten screws and replace cover. 17. POWER FAILURE Do not open the doors to reduce the cooling capacity until power is restored. 18. ENERGY SAVING TIPS The appliance should be placed in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts and out of direct sunlight. Allow hot/warm foods to cool before placing in the refrigerator. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may spoil or lose quality. Be sure to wrap food properly and wipe containers before placing them in the appliance. These cuts down on frost build up inside the appliance. Storage bins should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient. Organise and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed at one time. And close the door as soon as possible. Page 11 of 12
