ABOUT US MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF ANGVA The Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA) welcomes you to ANGVA Workshop on Natural Gas for Vehicles, Yangon, Myanmar on 20th May 2016 with specific topic on Natural Gas for Vehicles and Safety Practices for Vehicles Conversion. This Workshop is one of the activities of the ANGVA Learning Centre (ALC) which was established to conduct trainings on matters related to NGV. The objective of this ANGVA Workshop on Natural Gas Vehicles is to provide knowledge and insights on Natural Gas Vehicles and to highlight the need to practice safety in the conversion of vehicles by adhering to regulations and standards. SPEAKERS KEYNOTE SPEAKER TRAINER HLA WIN HTAY General Manager CNG Department MOGE Mr. Hla Win Htay graduated with B.E (Petroleum) in 1983. Mr. Htay has 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, starting his career as an Assistant Production Engineer in 1986 at the Htauk Sha Pin, Kan Ni Oil & Gas Field. Through the years he moved to various areas of the oil and gas field including production, supply, distribution and well servicing. In 2011 he was the Operation Production engineer in the CNG Department and in 2014 he was promoted to the position of General Manager of CNG Department, Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE), Ministry of Energy, Myanmar. LEE GIOK SENG Executive Director Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicle Association Mr. Lee Giok Seng graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1984. He is a professional engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). He started work in PETRONAS in August 1984. He was involved in the development, promotion and operation of NGV since it was commercially introduced in Malaysia by PETRONAS in 1991. He started as the engineer in-charged of vehicle conversions and was involved in the development of Malaysian Standard for vehicle conversions and vehicle installer training and certification programme. In 1995, he was appointed as the Technical Services Manager of PETRONAS NGV Sdn. Bhd. and in 2003 he was appointed as the Senior Manager for the Operations & Services Department. In August 2007, he was seconded from PETRONAS to the Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA) as an Executive Director, promoting the development and promotion of NGV markets in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to his retirement from PETRONAS in November 2013, he was seconded to the Malaysian Gas Association as a technical manager in January 2013. Currently he is contracted as an Executive Director by ANGVA.
