nurturing, growing & contributing PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS AT ONE OF NAPLES MOST SOUGHT-AFTER EVENTS The Naples Garden Club invites you to promote your business to nearly 1,000 potential customers by becoming a sponsor of our House & Garden Tour which will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019. For 65 years, this perennially sold-out event has showcased unique homes and gardens chosen to inspire attendees. All guests will be introduced to your business the day of the event, and reminded of the work you do throughout the following year. Sponsors will be featured: On prominent signage in and around the welcome tent the day of the event In the House & Garden Tour booklet On our website (www.naplesgardenclub.org), including a business description and link to your website Via a link in every member eblast and monthly newsletter The House & Garden Tour has become a popular and exciting way for the Naples Garden Club to raise funds that support the community while also helping build business for our sponsors. As a result, we awarded approximately $80,000 in scholarships and funds for community projects this past April, bringing our total grant contributions throughout our history to over $1,000,000. CLUB & TOUR INFORMATION The Naples Garden Club Founded in November 1953 A non-profit community-based charitable and educational organization Fosters appreciation of floral design, horticulture and the environment Member of National Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs Approximately 250 local members Community involvement is one of the organization s core values, providing funds to over 30 different civic and charitable organizations over the years Through a careful vetting process, the Naples Garden Club awards grants to a variety of local programs. Some of the programs funded this year include: Landscaping for Habitat for Humanity Grace Place garden and reading room Garden and trips for Collier Senior Services Preservation of historically significant plants at Naples Botanical Garden Gardening program for Providence House Three summer internships at Naples Botanical Garden Funded a $100,000 endowment that annually awards financial assistance to Florida Gulf Coast University students conducting research in plant sciences at the FGCU / Naples Botanical Garden s Kapnick Education and Research Center Funded the Idea Garden at Naples Botanical Garden to expose the public to practical ideas for sustainable gardening Presents the largest juried flower show in SWFL in partnership with Naples Botanical Garden The House & Garden Tour Naples Garden Club s main fundraiser for 65 years Sells out online within hours All attendees are focused on the event and event sponsors Raises funds that support students and community projects Will be held February 2, 2019 Historically features unique homes and gardens in Port Royal, Aqualane Shores and Old Naples General admission tickets are $150 and Patron tickets are $275 Admission includes bus transportation to the featured homes, welcome tote bag with water and gifts, refreshments, free admission on the day of the tour to Naples Botanical Garden and 10% discount in its gift shop Patron tickets go on sale November 17, 2018; general admission tickets on November 30, 2018 naples garden clubtm
