Cookmaid with Still Life of Fruit and Vegetables Pennard Plants have interpreted Cookmaid with Still Life of Vegetables and Fruit by Sir Nathanial Bacon as an interactive living artwork which needs you to complete the picture by posing as the cookmaid! During the show Nneka Uzoigwe will paint a still life inspired by the installation Pennard Plants have created, whilst also talking through her work and answering any questions that you may have about it. Nneka trained at London Fine Art Studios for 3-years and was awarded the de Laszlo Scholarship. She now works as a full-time artist, taking on commissions with a particular interest in flora. She has exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries. Save the Date Café is an egalitarian eatery based in the heart of East London. We take food which is destined for landfill and create restaurant quality meals which are sold on a pay as you feel basis. Our aim is to ensure that everyone in the community has access to great food and a friendly venue regardless of whether you are homeless, unemployed, a student or living comfortably.
