our company production in 2017 Stevens (Scotland) Ltd was established in 1968 and has grown by providing a service unmatched in the window blind industry. The core part of the business is the Stevens Trade Division which now supplies over 1000 independent blind companies throughout the UK and is recognised within the window blind industry for speed of service and quality of product. In 2015 the Stevens family decided to sell the business and the directors felt that the ideal fit was the eventual purchasers of the company, The Hunter Douglas Group. The ethos of the company will not change as the intention is to build upon previous successes by adopting the same model going forward. our production facility, a 66,000 square foot complex was opened 17 years ago and is probably the most modern environment for creating window blinds in the industry. Ten years ago a further 300,000 extension was added to accommodate a new range of products and to offer an enhanced reception and larger showroom facilities for the benefit of our growing number of trade and retail customers. As ongoing commitment to our customers there will be further investment in production and technology in 2016/17. Substantial investment has already been made in our state-of-the-art computer systems. This is matched with custom-written software produced in-house to match the company and customer requirement alike, leading to the launch of our exciting on-line ordering and quotation system in 2016. This, with continued reviews of our manufacturing processes, ensures that Stevens (Scotland) Ltd stay at the forefront of the window blind industry.
Our Service At Stevens (Scotland) Ltd we take pride in our customer service, and in particular our success in hitting the delivery date requested by our customers. Orders are manufactured to the customers specifications and each process is double-checked within the department before the final product passes through a quality check point. Each blind has an identification label which is scanned throughout its journey through our manufacturing process and ultimately when it reaches our despatch department where it is prepared for uplift by our carriers. Our carriers will uplift and deliver our products to all corners of the UK mainland within 24 hours and at no cost at all to our customers. Roller Blinds with OneTouch Motorisation The revolutionary OneTouch motorised roller blind provides a simple, child safe operation at an extraordinary competitive price. As simple to fit as a standard roller blind, OneTouch battery operation eliminates the need for an electrician or even access to a power socket. There is a clever wand operation that allows the blind to be fitted complete with the control and AA battery pack is attached to the blind. The batteries can be easily replaced by the consumer and with a fixed position wand concerns regards a missing hand set are eliminated, an ideal solution for the nursery. For a more sophisticated operation the rechargeable OneTouch is supplied complete with an inbuilt Lithium rechargeable battery. Laminated Roller Blinds A popular addition to the roller blind range is our Laminated Roller Blind. Using the latest technology, this innovative process allows us to quickly transform soft cloth fabrics, into laminated roller Blinds. Following the lamination process each blind is finished with over-locking on each of the visible edges and is finished with a stitched bottom pocket. Your customer can now choose to combine the functionality of a roller blind using soft cloth curtain material. Having the technology available on a daily basis means we are keen to keep production at the highest level possible, so to encourage this service we offer to laminate customers own fabric to the same standard as those who wish to choose from the Stevens, Eclipse or Louvolite Soft Cloth Collections.

Duo Fabric Roller Blinds Natural daylight and night time privacy. Duo fabric roller blinds offer a stunning alternative to both conventional roller blinds, voiles and curtains, by combining all elements within one product. The unique double layer of fabric, with horizontal strips of alternating fabric and sheer, can be rotated into the open position where the sheer fabrics match up allowing light to penetrate into your room. Duette Shades Collection including Literise and Smartcord The Literise system is completely cordless system for operating both Duette and plissé blinds giving the ultimate in child safety. Literise is just as described, a light lifting or lowering of the bottom rail of the blind is all that is needed to position the blind wherever you wish. No cords or chains inherently child safe. The revolutionary Smartcord operating system uses a retractable cord mechanism to raise and lower Duette blinds.
