FILTERMAX FilterMax is a complete filter solution for the entire workshop. Irrespective of whether you extract welding fumes or dust, use extraction arms or permanent built-in capture hoods, FILTER MODULES WITH AUTOMATIC CLEANING FilterMax is an effective and well-balanced filter, that can be built up to 9 000 m 3 /h. With capacity for th Today it is natural for industrial plants to have extractors to capture hazardous substances before they reach the operators breathing zone. It should be just as natural to filter the air before it is released. FilterMax 1 Nederman FilterMax is a module built filter for your extraction system. Each module has a filter surface of 60 m 2 that filters up to 3 500 m 3 /h. You can build up to 3 modules in each filter unit with a total capacity of 10 000 m 3 /h. Thanks to its compact, efficient design FilterMax only needs 2 m 2 of floor space. Automatic cleaning To simplify use and guarantee optimum performance, FilterMax is equipped with automatic cleaning. The pulse-jet system shoots short, powerful jets of air onto the filter cartridges, the dirt is separated from the filter surface and falls down into the container below. The pulse-jet system cleans the filter cartridges in sequence while the filter is in use. You can choose between our standard filter cartridge and the PTFE membrane cartridge, when there are high demands on efficiency and cleanbility. The PTFE membrane is bonded to a polyester media which gives the cartridge internal strength against deformation from the weight of the dust loading and other forces caused by the movement of air within the dirty chamber of the filter unit. Due to the natural proporties of PTFE and Polyester the filter has an inherant resistance to moisture and chemicals. Filtration efficiency: Standard: Greater than 99 % efficiency at 0.3 µm. W3* * Filter class according to pren ISO/DIS 15012-1 Pulse-jet cleaning system 8 High performance valve Blow pipe Laser cut slots optimised for high cleaning efficiency and low pulse noise Optimal designed profile inlet Nederman's unique reverse pulse- jet cleaning system operates while the main fan is extracting by releasing a measured quantity of compressed air to each cartridge. To ensure each cartridge receives air at the correct quantity and at the right pressure, the control valves are directly connected to a reservoir. On cleaning a powerful shock wave is generated, which runs the length of the filter cartridge. This has the effect of dislodging the dust cake from the surface of the filter and with the subsequent pressure wave behind, allows the dust to drop into the container. The pulse from the valves are distributed into the cartridges via a unique laser cut zigzag slot along the length of the blow pipe. The effect of the cleaning is further enhanced by the venturi shaped outlet of the cartridge. The result of the innovative cleaning and filter design gives an overall increased efficiency and lower running cost compared with similar filter units. Pre-separator The air velocity is increased in the pre-separator nozzle. The air flow turns upwards in the chamber, large particles are separated and fall down into the container. An ingeniously simple patented pre-separating system.

To adjust the airflow, a damper in the clean air duct can be used. As an alternative the airflow can be controlled with Nederman Fan Inverter (accessory). Recommendations To avoid pressure losses and dust deposits in the system it is important to use the correct duct diameter. The transport velocity shall be at least 10-12m/s for fume and 15-20 m/s for dust. Take velocity in to account when choosing the duct diameters. The velocity shall never decrease in the system through to the FILTERMAX. The following duct diameters can be used for the connection to FILTERMAX.
