Only for this use is intended. DANGER: The manufacturer can not be held responsible for any damage due to improper or incorrect use. Any other use releases the manufacturer from liability for harm to persons and/or property and invalidates any warranty condition. IMPROPER USE Do not use the appliance to: - Aspirate flammable, explosive, corrosive and toxic substances. - Aspirate hot substances. - Do not use the appliance to vacuum dust. Do not use the appliance in areas at risk of explosion. ENGLISH - 1

PREPARING THE APPLIANCE - Remove the plug (1 Fig. 1) fpr the evacuationpump. - Release the levers (2 Fig. 2) and remove the cover (3 Fig. 3) complete with the motor unit. - Verify that there is the filter bag (4 Fig. 4) in the tank and the filter in Nylon (31, Fig. 3). - If the filter bag (4 Fig. 4) is not present, install it as follows: Slide the plastic ring (5 Fig. 5) of the bag into the orifice (6 Fig. 5) until you hear the click of the lock ring in the groove (7 Fig. 5). - Place the cover back on and lock it using the levers (2 Fig. 2). - Insert the plug (1 Fig. 1) int the socket. - Insert, as far as possible, the sleeve (8 Fig. 6) of the suction hose into the nozzle (9 Fig. 6) on the drum. - To release the sleeve (8 Fig. 6) turn the lever (10 Fig. 6) clockwise and then pull the sleeve outwards (8 Fig. 6). - Join the hose (11 Fig. 7) with the extension (12 Fig. 7). - Connect the two rigid extensions (12-13 Fig. 8) by aligning the two reference points (14-15 Fig. 8). - Mount on the rigid extension (13 Fig. 9) the desired accessory,( vacuum nozzle, floor nozzle etc..). - Connect a hose to the exhaust outlet of 1/4 (14 Fig. 10). www.ghibliwirbel.com USING THE APPLICANCE - The unit is equipped with wheels and can be pushed with the handle (15 Fig. 11). - Its lifting should be done by two people using the handles (16 Fig. 11). Starting up the appliance - Insert the plug (17 Fig. 12) in the socket and check that the plug (1 Fig. 1) is correctly inserted. - Depending on the power required it is possible to start only one motor by pressing the switch (18 Fig. 13) on I or both switches (18-19 Fig. 13) if a greater suction force is required. When the switch pressed the corresponding button lights up. - To start the pump, press the button (20 Fig. 13) after checking that the drain valve (21 Fig. 14) is open. NOTES: The operation of the pump is controlled by a start float positioned inside the tank; to ensure the correct operation and the correct cooling of the same, the pump starts when inside the reservoir the level of the water reaches 1 cm in height and stops when the level drops below this height. NOTES: In case the recovery tank fills up, there is an increase of noise and the device no longer vacuums, then turn off the appliance and empty the tank. Switching off the appliance - Push the switches (18-19-20 Fig. 13) to the 0 position to stop the device; the lights, if any on the switches, will go off. - Remove the plug (17 Fig. 12) from the electrical socket. - Wind up the cable (23 Fig. 16) and hook it onto its housing (24 Fig. 16). CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE DANGER: Before performing any maintenance operation, unplug the appliance from the electrical socket. Daily cleaning Check and clean network filter - Remove the cylinder head as described above. - Remove the network filter (4 Fig. 4). - Open the filter (4 Fig. 15) using the clip (22 Fig. 15), rinse and drain it from any solid residue and then close the clip (22 Fig. 15) and reassemble as described above. - Reassemble all the parts by following the dismantling process steps in the reverse order. Cleaning the appliance - Clean the unit body with a cloth dampened with water or a mild detergent. - Remove the cylinder head as previously indicated and clean the inside of the tank from the residues of dirt with running water, as they can interfere with the operation, and then drain it, by starting the evacuation pump in order to clean both the pump and the discharge pipe. Replace everything doing the opposite of the disassembly. NOTES: Clean the start float (25 Fig. 17) checking that it slides without difficulty. Periodic checks Checking the air outlet filter - Loosen the screws (26 Fig. 17) and remove the cover (27 Fig. 17). - Remove the foam tank (28 Fig. 18) and the texture sponges (29 Fig. 19) if any. - Clean the sponges with a blast of air (Fig. 20). The filter sponges can be washed in warm water and must only be replaced once they are completely dry; if too dirty, replace them with new ones. - Reassemble all the parts by following the dismantling process steps in the reverse order. Checking the floater - Remove the top as shown above. - Remove the filter (31Fig. 22). - Check If the floater (30 Fig. 21) is In good condition and if it moves freely in its space. - Replace the filter (31 Fig. 22) as described in the relevant section. Checking and cleaning the motor protection filter - Remove the cylinder head as previously indicated. - Remove the filter (31 Fig. 22) - Wash the filter (31 Fig. 22) with warm running water removing all foreign particles and reassemble only after a thorough drying. - Insert the filter (31 Fig. 22) on the motor hood then through the straps (32 Fig. 22) hooking the elastic part on the top of the filter with washers (33 Fig. 22). - Reassemble in reverse order. DANGER: Do not wash the appliance using jets of water. ENGLISH - 3

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION Switch not pressed. Press the switch. The vacuum cleaner does not work. Plug not inserted. Insert the plug into the socket. Suction is not satisfactory. Does not discharge. No current. Filter elements clogged. Accessories or tubes clogged. Suction nozzle squeegee worn or damaged. Tap closed. Pump off. Check the power supply line. Clean the filter elements. Check and clean the flexible hose and the suction nozzle. Check and replace the squeegee. Turn on the tap. Check that the pump switch is in position I. ENGLISH - 4
