The Arctic Coke Cooler consists of a Cooler and a Nucleator/Ice-Up Platform. The cooler is designed to chill the beverages to about 20 24 F. The Ice-Up Platform, mounted to the side of the cooler, will form a slush in the beverage when it is activated. The Ice-up Platform is built by Sanmina. The Cooler is manufactured by Metalfrio. The Metalfrio model # is NG5CHC. The cooler is basically a common cooler with a Wellington Refrigeration controller. The controller is set to cycle the refrigeration system on at approximately 26.6 F (-3 C) and cycle off at approximately 23 F (-5 C). The cooler is designed to chill the product on the top shelf, Coca-Cola, to the coldest point. The product on the middle shelf, Sprite, is chilled to about one degree warmer. The product(s) on the bottom shelf, Diet Coke and/or POWERADE mountain berry blast, are chilled to about 2 degrees warmer than the top shelf. Ice-Up Platform Operation: When the cold, at freezing point, beverage is placed in the Stainless Steel Cup on the Ice-Up Platform, the Red activation button is pressed. This energizes a low voltage electrical circuit creating a vibration in the liquid. The vibration changes the pattern of the Molecules in the liquid to form crystals/slush in the liquid. The vibration can t be seen, heard or felt. However, the formation of the Slush can be observed. Operating voltage is 12 VDC 4 amp The Ice-Up Platform and Cooler are The Ice-Up Packaged Platform Separately and Cooler are T Arctic COKE Cooler 1

Turn plug to the right until the yellow locking tab is at about the 9 o clock position and the locking tab snaps into place. To remove plug, pull yellow locking tab out, turn plug to left, and pull plug out. 5. Plug cooler into a 115VAC 20 amp dedicated outlet. Cool-down Times Warm product 12 hours Cold product (40 F or less) 4 hours Initial cool down, with a warm cabinet, my take longer. 4 ½ to 6 hours are recommended on initial cool down Link to an operation and installation video is below https://vimeo.com/216001889/e8f632829f Arctic COKE Cooler 4

DAILY CHECKLIST TO BE PERFORMED BY THE STORE TEAM 1. Load Packages Load the Arctic COKE cooler in the evenings and allow at least 4 hours (cold product) and 12 hours (warm product) for the beverages to chill to the correct temperatures. Note that the Green LED will change to Red when the cooler is loaded with product. This is normal. The LED will go to Green, READY, when the cabinet and product reaches the proper temperature. Top Shelf Coca-Cola Middle Shelf Sprite Bottom Shelf POWERADE mountain berry blast or Diet Coke 2. Check for Frozen Bottles in the Arctic COKE cooler In rare instances, bottle(s) may freeze solid inside the cooler. If this occurs, the bottle(s) should be removed immediately. If the liquid has not permanently deformed the package, it should be placed in a standard cooler or the cold vault. If the package has been permanently deformed, it should be discarded. Note: in most instances, completely frozen bottles are due to the bottle being activated on the ice-up platform and then placed back in the Arctic Cooler. A bottle being placed on the ice-up platform and forming slush should never be placed in the Arctic Cooler. Frozen bottles and bottles with slush are to be placed in the cold vault or a standard cooler. 3. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. How does the machine work? The coolers are specially designed to optimize package temperature so that the beverages are prone to freeze. By removing the package, turning the package upside down and then right side up, and then placing in the stainless cup, the package will begin to form a slush. THE PRODUCT/PACKAGE IS NOT CHEMICALLY ALTERED IN ANY WAY; the machine simply leverages science to create the slush. If the customer has additional questions, or you are contacted by the media, please direct them to Coca-Cola Journey, http://www.coca-colacompany.com/ 2. Why is slush not forming in the beverage on the Ice-Up Platform? In rare instances, slush may not form in the beverage after being used with the Ice-Up Platform. If this occurs, try the following step: Make sure the consumers are slowly tilting the bottle upside-down and right-side up before placing in the stainless cup. If the issue continues after several attempts in the stainless cup, instruct the customer to place that package aside and try another package. The package should be placed into a normal cooler or the cold vault. 3. Why is the product spilling over after the cap is opened?
