1-0-PC Installation Instructions 1 2 3 Lower spout into mounting hole. Slide "C" washer up on supply tube. Carefully tighten spout nut to secure spout. 4 6 Apply teflon tape to the bottom of the spout supply tube and thread on tee. Thread Teflon Tape Push valve up from the bottom and thread on the valve sleeve from the top to secure the valve.if the deck is less than 1 3/ thick use the supplied spacer. If the deck is thicker than 1 3/ do not use the spacer. Place the O ring over the valve. Place the handle assembly on the valve. Secure the assembly by turning the handle hub clockwise. Thread Teflon Tape Install water inlet hoses. Slide push drain trim and plug into drain hole and secure from below. Apply teflon tape to the drain plug and thread on the drain tail piece. 1121436-B 2
10 11 12 Cold Push drain to test. Hot Attach customer-supplied water supply lines. Turn on angle stops and check all connections for leaks. 13 3 Remove aerator with key and flush out debris. Reinstall aerator and save aerator key for homeowner. Cleaning Instructions Only use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth to clean and polish the fixture. Wipe fixtures and the immediate areas clean and rinse completely with water immediately after installation and after applying any cleaner. If you are using a cleaning compound on or close to the product, please test the compound on a hidden area of the trim to ensure it will not damage the finish. Do not allow cleaners to soak anywhere on the product. Problem Cause Action Cartridge "O" ring is damaged. Cartridge is loose. Trouble-Shooting If you have followed the instructions and your faucet still does not work properly take these corrective steps Leaks under an escutcheon Remove cartridge, rinse "O" ring and reinstall cartridge Aerator leaks or has an inconsistent water flow pattern Only hot or only cold water is coming out of the spout Aerator is dirty or mis-threaded The hot or cold stop valve is not opened Remove aerator with key and flush out debris. Reinstall aerator and save aerator key for homeowner Open the hot or cold stop valves Handle will not turn Cartridge is dirty or mis-fitted Remove, rinse and reinstall cartridge 3 1121436-B
