CARLSBERG MUSEUM & BUSINESS CENTRE A Dining Experience Immersed in the Arts State-of-the-art event and meeting facilities in historical buildings, elegant rooms full of culture, fine food and quality beers all this makes Visit Carlsberg a unique venue just 10 minutes from Copenhagen City Hall. We can provide the perfect setting for events ranging from intimate dining to meetings, conferences and gala dinners for up to 400 guests. You are also welcome to take a break from a packed programme with a guided tour of the Carlsberg complex. The possibilities are endless, so feel free to contact us, to find the perfect solution for your unique event. Rooms Packed with Passion Making everyday life more beautiful was one of the goals of Carl Jacobsen, the son of the founder of Carlsberg Brewery J.C. Jacobsen. More than a century ago he used the money generated by beer to fulfil his and his wife Ottilia s passion for art. They established their own private art collection, which was housed in a beautifully decorated suite of rooms with marble pillars and mosaic floors, where the couple also hosted many parties. Today Carlsberg Museum & Business Centre is a modern venue with respect for history. And even though most of Carl s art collection is now in the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, you can still dine in the company of Danish master painters, as well as empresses and the gods of the Nordic pantheon. Wining and Dining with a Focus on Quality Beer The guiding theme of our cuisine is not surprisingly beer. Our kitchen staff takes a pride in using beer to highlight and accentuate the finest seasonal produce and complement the best of Nordic cuisine. Our wide selection of beers, which includes the Jacobsen speciality beer collection, means we can always find the perfect beer to match your menu.

The little extra If you need a break or cultural element in your programme, Carlsberg has lots to offer: Historical walks, guided tours of the cellars, or the history of Carl s art in the Carlsberg Museum & Business Centre. You can also taste our bartender s selection of beers or take a trip on a horse-drawn cart with Carlsberg s impressive dray horses. Easy Access Visit Carlsberg is just 2½ kilometres from Copenhagen City Hall and public transport right to the door, e.g. Carlsberg Station. FOR INQUIRIES AND BOOKINGS DON T HESITATE TO CONTACT OUR SALES TEAM: Call +45 3327 1020 (weekdays 9:00-16:00) or contact us via booking@carlsberg.dk

THE DIPYLON HALL - FOR PROFESSIONAL GATHERINGS The Dipylon Hall is named after the double-arched gateway that provides the basis for the unique decoration of the hall nine almost life-sized gilded tile paintings of figures including Ottilia and Carl Jacobsen. Jens Wilhelm Dahlerup, the architect of the Royal Danish Theatre, designed the light, spacious hall in 1892, creating the ideal space for celebrations, as well as conferences and professional meetings. The hall is fully equipped with standard AV equipment. See a 360-degree photo of The Dipylon Hall. Max capacity Meeting: Reception: Dinner: 196 guests 200 guests 132 guests 15 x 10 meters Headsets and handheld microphones Integrated loudspeakers 1 projector 100" screen 1 flip chart Optional dark screening/stage setting

THE RAGNAROK HALL - ONE OF OUR MOST STUNNING VENUES The Ragnarok Hall, with its deep red walls and classical ornamentation, reveals the full extent of Carl Jacobsen s sense of aesthetics. The hall is named after the frieze that decorates it, which depicts the final battle between the gods and giants of Nordic mythology. The frieze is a reconstruction of a decoration made for Christiansborg Palace by the artist H.E. Freund. Beneath the figures are the names of key figures in the battle, where fallen warriors went straight to Valhalla to eternal happiness and plenty of beer. The magnificence of the Ragnarok Hall makes it the perfect setting for gala dinners, receptions and product launches. See a 360-degree photo of The Ragnarok Hall. apacity Dinner: Reception: 94 guests 150 guests 12 x 9.5 meters Optional loudspeakers and microphones

THE QUEEN S HALL - FOR LUNCH AND DINNER The Queens Hall is named after the four statues of Medieval Danish queens Dagmar, Thyra, Margrethe I and Phillipa. The stately figures were originally part of a collection of 14 queens standing on the Queen s Staircase at Christiansborg Palace, all of which perished in the palace fire of 1884. This elegant room with its fine skylights is ideal for lunch between meetings, dinners and standing receptions. See a 360-degree photo of The Queen's Hall. Capacity Dinner: Reception: 78 guests 150 guests 12 x 9.5 meters Optional loudspeakers and microphones

HALL OF PAINTINGS - DINING WITH A MASTER ARTIST This hall is also called the Jacobsen Family Hall, which makes sense the longest wall is adorned by the Danish artist P.S. Krøyer s painting A Soiree at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, 1888. The painting portrays Carl and Ottilia Jacobsen in the company of the contemporary art elite at an exhibition Jacobsen himself curated. The figures in the painting are so lifelike it looks as if they could step out of the heavy, gilded frame to mingle with the rest of us. Invite your guests to join you for lunch or dinner in fine company dining with P.S. Krøyer, Ottilia and Carl. See a 360-degree photo of the Hall of Paintings. Capacity Dinner: 48 guests 9.5 x 7 meters Optional loud speakers and microphone

THE GOLDEN AGE HALL - WELCOME! The Golden Age Hall is the former museum lobby, where prominent guests were received. Here you will meet the intense gaze of an Italian woman in the Danish Golden Age artist Wilhelm Marstrand s painting, as well as a series of other works. You and your guests will have the opportunity to sit next to works by famous Nordic painters of the late 19th century. The hall is still used as it was originally intended for smaller receptions, where glass in hand you can enjoy the paintings and meet new people. It is equally ideal for smaller meetings. Capacity Meeting: 24 guests 16 x 6 meters 52" screen 1 whiteboard

THE EMPRESS HALL - OUR MOST EXCLUSIVE FUNCTION ROOM The Empress Hall is the crème de la crème. Its location, pillars and delicate ornamentation combine to make it the pièce de résistance of the suite of function rooms. It also has a fine view of a green oasis, creating the illusion of being under more southerly skies. The hall is named after two elegant statues of Christian IX s daughters: the beautiful Empress Dagmar of Russia and the even more stunning Queen Alexandra, the wife of Edward VII of England. Stephan Sinding s sculpture Two Figures expresses all the passion of an intense embrace. The hall is ideal for hosting intimate events, like an exclusive dinner or standing reception and this intimate yet illustrious setting could even be where you choose to get married. See a 360-degree photo of The Empress Hall. Capacity Dinner: Reception: 56 guests 100 guests 120 m 2

THE GLYPTOTEK HALL - FOR GRAND CELEBRATIONS The Glyptotek Hall is one of Carlsberg Museum & Business Centre s largest function rooms, and built in 1882 also its oldest. The room was originally built as the Jacobsen family s conservatory, but Carl Jacobsen s expanding art collection meant that sculptures soon outnumbered plants. The family had direct access to the conservatory from their residence via an imposing staircase, and from a small window Carl could also watch over his sculptures and guests. With its fine panelling, beautifully carved ceiling, and deep blue walls, the hall conjures up grand gala dinners with round tables decked with pristine tablecloths and warm candlelight. See a 360-degree photo of The Glyptotek Hall. Capacity Dinner: Standing: 120 guests 200 guests 13.5 x 10 meters Optional loudspeakers and microphones

THE GALLERY CORRIDOR - YOUR GRAND WELCOME The Gallery Corridor runs alongside the suite of function rooms and is populated by portraits of men in smart suits and a small handful of women. These are not, as might be expected, portraits of Carlsberg s directors over the years, but of 150 Carlsberg employees high and low with 50 years of service at the brewery. See if you can find Johanne Møller, who clocked up an amazing 62 years working for the brewery. The Gallery Corridor is ideal for grand welcomes, receptions as well as breaks, and also has an informal bar area. See a 360-degree photo of The Gallery Corridor. Capacity Standing: 300 guests 33 x 5.5 meters Headsets and handheld microphones Integrated loudspeakers

CARL S GARDEN - A GREEN OASIS Carl s Garden is behind Carl s Villa and is a well-kept secret of a green oasis open exclusively to people attending events at Carlsberg. A gravel path flanked by classical statues leads from the garden door of the villa to a Venetian summer house surrounded by a romantic garden with old fruit trees with a calming atmosphere. Take a break in the garden during a busy conference, or gather here with your guests at the end of a productive day. Facilities Capacity: 800 guests
