User manual - Page 2 of 15 1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION The automatic RAV BM20 machine is an entirely autonomous machine unit for blowing and cleaning empty bottle, of different size.. The unit is used primarily by the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The parts of the machine are made of nichel plated steel, anodized aluminum or inox steel AISI 304, while the parts that come into direct contact with the product are entirely of inox steel AISI 316 or material inert to possible oxidation. The machine is supplied complete of an accident prevention protection booth. The machine s production can vary, depending on the shape and size of container.
User manual - Page 3 of 15 1.1 MACHINE ASSEMBLY AND CONNECTIONS The electrical connections required before starting up the machine are: 1) Power line connection carried through a 2.5 mm² minimum section cable 2) Grounding carried with a 2.5 mm² minimum section cable Connection must be executed trough the four connector positioned close to fuse in the main electrical box with wire signed L1, L2, L3 AND N. Pneumatic connection between the machine and the line take place through the supply air treatment group installed on the right side of the machine. The desired pressure must be set according to visible pressure gauge (we suggest 5/6 bar).

Following the procedure for changing and adjusting the size parts 1. Adjust the guides of input/output conveyor belt 2. Remove the screw and the knob and replace the plastic size parts 3. Replace the auger and adjust the position, according to the diameter and the heigh of the bottle 4. Adjust the phase of the auger according to input and output star wheels position
User manual - Page 13 of 15 5. In case it needs change the distance cilinders of the tongs opening cam (the big ones are for DIAM. 60, the small ones for DIAM. 45 and DIAM. 50) 6. Adjust the back side guide of each tong, to to keep the bottle aligned to the air blow nozzle 7. By the handwheel unlock the movement of blower/head and adjust the height of the whole machine block using the metric reference (DIAM. 60: ref. 210 DIAM. 50: ref. 195 DIAM. 45: ref. 192) 8. Adjust the position of bottles level control
