UNIQUENESS MEETS DESIGN The LISTENER V7 is available in various colours and can be integrated in pre-existing home systems. It has a bidirectional connection and can examine automatically all detectors regarding their operability. LISTENER V7 DIFFERENCE TO CONVENTIONAL ALARM SYSTEMS The LISTENER V7 works on the principle of sound detection and thus differs fundamentally from other devices which rely solely on the detection of pressure differences in rooms or buildings. This means that the alarm system can distinguish ordinary opening of doors and windows from break-in attempts. The LISTENER V7 does not respond to light, motion or the interruption of electrical connections, but rather on the basis of strictly physical principles. While sound events, specifically below 20 Hertz, are quite strong and turbulent outdoors, they are much weaker in a hollow body or building where they remain motionless but uniformly distributed throughout the building structure. Normal doors, for example, do not represent an obstacle to sound events. This weak sound level is measured and stored by the LISTENER V7. The unique active filternetwork of the LISTENER V7 controls and monitors continuously all changes and rigorously filters out any events over 20 Hertz. This means that all normal events such as wind, storm, tilted windows, vehicles of all kinds, animals and even falling glasses are recognised by the LISTENER V7 as normal movements which do not trigger the alarm. Only abrupt volumetric changes, such as the breaking or forcible leverage of a window are reliably detected and registered. In addition to this first detection, a second detection feature for further protection is ensured because the LISTENER V7 contains a memory of the sound events of practically any material which can experience changes in tension. Such sounds are not audible by human ears. In the course of a break-in, material resistances must be overcome by levering, bending, forcing or breaking unless, of course, the burglar is using a spare key. Sound events

Alarm messages can be forwarded smoothly via recorded voice messages to a responsible agent, such as a security monitoring centre. A total of four phone numbers can be stored on four channels. In the event of an alarm, the system will dial the numbers in sequence and play the recorded message until it detects an acknowledgement from the recipient.
