STUDY TOUR TRIP May 25, 2016 Purpose Destination : learning about the history of money and the roll of youth in MEA. : bank of Indonesia museum and Indonesian ministry of trade. Involved individual : students of XI-SS & X-3 Time : 05:30 a.m. 09:55 p.m. The trip was began in our school early in the morning the trip actually shall started at 05:00 o clock but the preparation took time and so the trip was postponed for 30 minutes. The trip was kind of distracted due to the traffic jam caused by the factories workers whom entered the factories here in Sukabumi. Before we headed to the destination we stopped at the souvenir shop to buy the souvenir for the Indonesian ministry of trade workers. The traffic jam intensity became worst due to the way improvement which caused inconvenience to the drivers. Not just that we also couldn t reached the bank of Indonesia in time. The effect was just like dominoes again we didn t got our tour guide. Here on the right is the front side of the bank of Indonesia museum. The constructions, the ceilings and architectures was just tremendously vintage and really grand. Before we could entered the building we shall passed the bodychecking machine to prove that our coming meant no harm. After the process of body-checking we took the stairs and headed up to the ticket seller, FYI the ticket

worth for Rp 5000,-/person. And then we gave our ticket to the ticket collector as an evidence that we already bought the ticket. The first diorama we saw was a place for people to experienced transaction. There, located more than 3 transaction cubicles. The doors of the cubicles looks old and creaky and the lightning is dimmed. In front of the cubicles there are a line of window not just a common window it is aesthetic window it reminded me of a church. And there are some computer system that allowed us to accessed the information of the museum. The second diorama was a dimmed room with many collection of the history of Indonesia economical matters. Due to the crowdness we experienced we couldn t stopped in every section in a time that we want, we should share with others. Almost forgot, before the second diorama there are a medium size theatre with red chairs and wide screen that will showed us the problem of economy pillars in 7 9- ish. But missed it again because the horde in the street. In the second diorama there are an imitation of the Jung ship. The Jung ship used to trading spices owned by admiral Cheng-Ho. It happened before the dutch people invaded Indonesia. There also the remnant of flask monocular and a radio. Those remnants are locked in a barrels with a glass pane on top of it. In the wall of the diorama there a photos of the crucial sailor

in that time such Bartolomeus Diaz, Marco Polo, Vasco Da Gama and Alfonso D Albuquerque. There many replicas of how the transaction going in the past. And a long description of the process itself. The tour at the museum went faster than we thought before. On the right are the replicas that we mentioned before. In the next diorama we saw war suits that belongs to Indonesia, Japan and Dutch people. There also hanging some photographs. Old photographs. The condition of the photographs is destroyed and not clear to see through. One of the photograph showed the difference of our indigenous tribe body size than the foreigner. Stuck to the wall there are trunk with a thin glass pane showed us the evolution of the physic of the money. After we got out from the dioramas we found ourselves in an aisle. The aisle is surrounds the building from the inside so in the middle we could found an empty open park that we didn t knew the function. We kept walking and we found a big room which is actually a dining room it is great and grand. Chairs surrounds the big table in the core. After we moved out into another aisle which contain the replica of the save box for golds the room is the brightest room over all. The save box door was made from metal and the paint is unattached. In the core we saw a big transparent cube filled with gold. We considered it as a fake. At the back located a real gold that is so heavy to be lifted. And it was block with a glass pane with holes

for visitors if they want to touch the gold and felt the heaviness. And by those our tour end in the museum and then we had our pray and lunch and continued our journey to the Indonesian ministry of trade. In the Indonesian ministry of trade we were welcome and in this occasion we actually did a stadium general we discussed about MEA, the roll of youth in MEA and services. It was an interesting sharing with the staffs Miss Marina and Mr. Sukoco. They are great people and welleducated human being. The discussion went well and fun the staffs asked us to took a balloon and then we pretend to transferred our phobia into the balloon and at last they ordered us to explode the balloon as a symbol that we already defeated our phobia. Some us were screamed and the others stay silent. It was a stomach-shaking moment. At the end of the stadium general we gave the Indonesian ministry of trade a souvenir that we bought in the first time of our trip. And at last we approached our finish line in the trip we ended up in a rest area and then we went back home to our dormitory and school. Al-Kausar High Boarding School, Sukabumi. FIN.
