Key Features Know your Washing Machine Water inlet valve SMART TOUCH Midea's Smart Touch allows to handle your entire wash process with the touch of a button, saving your precious time and energy to spend doing the things you love. Using advanced algorithms, it calculates and automatically determines the water level, wash program, number of rinses and spin duration. Thus without Smart Touch no washing machine is a real fully automatic. HEXA FRILL WASH The power of six wave fronts in one rotation of pulsator, Midea's unique Hexa Frill Wash helps you to get the best wash results whatever the dirt level is and that too at the minimum water consumption. Thus no need to wait for high pressure; washing can be done at any time of the day. User Interface Panel Start/Pause (Smart Touch) (Start / Pause) perform both the functions of start & pause. If this button is pressed directly when power is on, Smart Touch feature is activated. Power Power button performs the function to Turn Off and Turn On the Washing Machine. Program Selection Before starting, continuosly press this button for switching over among (Standard), (Deep clean), (Fast clean), (Delicate), (Heavy load), (Active), (Tub clean), (Drum dry) & (Water Level) keys together. 7.5 MWMTL075ZOF SMART TOUCH um Child Lock Press (Program) and (Water Level) together to activate the child lock. Now only the (on/off) key is working. To disable the Child Lock, again press (Program) and (Water Level) keys together. Note : Other process combinations are just like above. Water Level Eight water levels are set for this washing machine from 1 and 2 at the lowest level to 7 and 8 at the highest level. Function This key helps to select the various wash process such as soak, wash, rinse & spin. Physically challenged mode The Start / Pause & On / Off is also written in braille language to assist the operation for visually impaired person. 6 7

Safety and Precautions Observe the following signs in order to prevent any injury and damage to property: Please do not install the machine in damp & rainy environment to avoid electric shocks, fire, faults & distortion accidents. Please do not directly rinse the machine with water while cleaning. This graphic represents (pay attention) and detailed cautions will be displayed inside the graphic. This graphic represents (operation prohibited), and detailed prohibitive items will be displayed inside the graphic. Please do not let children climb the machine or peep into the rotating spin tub to avoid accidents. It is prohibited to wash the clothes stained with kerosene, gasoline, alcohol & other flammable materials. This graphic represents (forcible execution), & detailed forcible execution items will be displayed inside the graphic. Please do not damage power flexible cord & power plug to avoid electric shocks, short circuit and fire. Regularly clean the power plug to remove dust & dirt to avoid contact failure. Note : This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of knowledge, unless experienced and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Please do not disassemble and assemble the machine on your own. Please do not insert your hand & take out clothes from inside the spin tub before it is fully stopped. Please pull out plug from the socket if the machine is not in use. Make sure the earthing line of socket is connected to earth to prevent any electric shock or accident caused by leakage of current. ( ) 10 11

Please insert the power plug tightly. Please do not place burning candle, mosquito-repellent, incense, cigarette & other flammable things, e lectric stove, air heating fan & other heating sources on the lid of washing machine. Please use correct power source. Please don t pull out or insert the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock. Installation 1. Remove package 3. Placement of water drain pipe Remove package and take out the bottom board of the cabinet on the foam cover. Open the lid of washer s door and take out the accessories. A trial operation or washing on the foamed cushion is strictly forbidden. If the water drain pipe needs to be extended, its length shall not exceed 3 meters, 2. Installation of drain pipe otherwise it will affect the water discharging time. Please ensure that the water inlet pipe is connected and the tap is opened before washing clothes. The water temperature o shall not exceed 50 C, when washing with warm water. Users are not adviced to change the plug on their own. If required please contact Midea Service Centre. Completely sleeve the drain pipe over the outlet. Fix and tighten it with a spring clamper that comes with the washing machine. (As shown in the figure) The placed height of water drain pipe shall not exceed 15cm. Please do not pull the electric cord while taking out the power plug. Please do not wash raincoat, fishing coat & water proof clothes in the washing machine. Do not bend the water drain pipe and place it under the base of washing machine. 12 Note : Make sure that the installation is done by CMI trained installation engineers only. Installation Steps before Washing Adjust the adjustable foot to make the washing machine stable. Connection of inlet pipe, tap and washing machine Loosen 4 bolts thread Loosen clamp nut thread Tighten Clamp Press slide bushing insert inlet pipe into, connecting base Front Ater connection & installation, check if there is water leakage Note: Make sure that the installation is done by CMI trained installation engineers only. Please call Midea Service Centre for any enquiry. 14 Soft Fabrics Set connecting base on tap & tighten bolts evenly Adjustable foot (extends when clockwise rotating & shorten when counterclockwise rotating) (Slightly incline the washing machine first & loosen the adjustable foot knob. Adjust the adjustable foot so as to ensure four corners of washing machine be steadily in contact with the ground. Then tighten the adjustable foot knob and lock it. If the ground is not flat, correction should be made on the ground surface, otherwise the washer tub will incline and knock the cabinet) Connect with power source. Turn on the water supply. Put down the drain pipe. Install the water Inlet pipe. Connection Finished Installing the Rat Protection Cover 1 Lay down the washing machine on a soft fabric or cushion. 2 Insert the anti rat protection cover to be firmly fixed from the back or front of washing machine & fix it with screw. Put in clothes and suitable amount of washing powder. Before washing, please do take out coins, keys and other pointed objects from the pockets and zip up clothes tightly to prevent them and wash tub from damage. 15

Smart Touch Explanation Personalized Washing Program User can select washing program and water level according to their own need. Press the [Start/ Pause] key Install the Washing Machine Select the appropriate Water Level Load the Clothes Select the desired Program Smart Touch Function key can be pressed several times depending on the need of introducing wash, rinse, spin or soak process, you wish to select. Alternatively, user can use Smart touch function which simplifies the washing process. Measure out the detergent Plug the Power Supply Smart Wash Put down the Drain Pipe Close the Machine door Turn on the Water Tap Using advanced algorithms, it calculates and automatically determines the water level, wash program, number of rinses, and spin duration. 16 17

Wash Programs & Special Features Wash Programs & Special Features Note: Close the lid of the door when machine is running, otherwise it will automatically stop working during spin process and send out abnormal warnings. The washing machine will not work till the time, filled water does not reach the set water level. The selection of rinse water level: the level is equal to wash water level. STANDARD This wash program is suitable for almost all types of clothes with appropriate wash, rinse & spin time. Press (Rinse Level) button, the indicator light which stands for rinse level. User can select the rinse water level according to needs. Rinse level exceeds that water level all the time. It shows the wash level if not, press this button. Only show rinse level when rinse. After pressing (ON/OFF Switch ), if the (Start/ Pause ) button is not pressed, the power will be automatically cut off after 10 minutes. HEAVY LOAD Suitable for heavier clothes with strong washing ability. Detailed explanation of washing program Contents Program Standard Deep clean Fast clean Wash Time Spin Time Complete Time Rinsing Time Note: The time required will also vary with water pressures of inlet pipe, different clothes textures and different water drain conditions. Delicate DEEP CLEAN Suitable for the heavily soiled clothes with larger wash time. ACTIVE Suitable for lesser clothes with less dirt degree. Heavy load Active Tub clean FAST CLEAN It s used for washing the clothes which are not so dirty and the whole washing process uses shorter wash time. TUB CLEAN This program is useful to clean the wash tub thoroughly with high RPM water sprayed for 1 min. Drum dry DELICATE Suitable for delicate clothes like wool, silk, etc. It uses higher water levels and no spin cycle to safeguard any damage on clothes due to higher rotation of tub. DRUM DRY* Drum Dry program is a special program of this washing machine. The spin tub circulates in a high speed to make the outside of the tub dry. This helps in controlling the bacterial growth making the washing healthier. *Note: This program is used for drying the tub. Do not put clothes inside the tub. 18 19

Cleaning and Maintenance End of program The washing machine will send buzzer sound at the end of every program operation to remind you to take out the clothes or operate it again. After the sound, washing machine returns to its power-off state with no display and all lights off. Please turn off the tap, pull out the plug when not in use to avoid water leakage or any accidents. Clean the water inlet After long time usage, the water inlet mesh bag may be blocked with mud or sand, and should be cleaned according to the following steps: 1. Switch on the power, followed by turning off the tap. 2. Let the washing machine work for 5 seconds so that water flows into the tub through the water inlet pipe, then turn off the power. 3. Unload the water inlet pipe and clean the mesh bag. Clean the magic filter After using the washing machine for a period, please clean it according to the following steps: 1. Take out the magic filter. 2. Open the filter and wash it with water 3. Restore and fix it. Maintenance Use gentle clothing to wipe off the water and dirt from the surface each time after using the washing machine. Detergent, propellant and other chemicals are not allowed to be used so as to avoid any damage to the plastic parts. Troubleshooting When the washing machine is in trouble, please contact CMI service centre or call Midea toll free number. No water flows in No Washing Abnormal Draining If the power is off or the fuse is burned out. If the water supply is cut off or the water pressure is too low. If the inlet pipe is properly connected and the water tap is opened. If the filtering screen of inlet valve is blocked by dirt. If the coil of inlet valve is damaged. (The slight electromagnetic sound is normal phenomenon when the inlet valve is switched on) If the "Start / Pause" button is pressed after the power switch is pressed. If the power is off or the fuse is burned out. If the power supply voltage is too low. If the water amount reaches to the required water level. (The washing machine will not work if the water amount does not reach the required water level) If the water drain pipe is placed very high. If the internal rubber ring of drain valve is blocked by dirt. Abnormal Spin If the door lid is closed. If all clothing piled largely at one side of tub or the clothing is excessively placed. If the washing machine is not placed in stable condition or it is placed in inclination state. (The ground is not flat). If the motor belt is loose. Note : During the spin process, if washing is piled at one side of the spin tub, it will cause unbalance of spin tub resulting in striking. At this moment, the computer inside the washing machine will feel this unbalance phenomenon and will automatically correct it ( fill in water Washing ). However, if unbalance situation is not removed after three continuous corrections, which means the computer auto- correction can not resolve the problem. Then the user has to manually and evenly place the clothing inside the tub to solve the problem. 20 21

Troubleshooting Technical Specifications When the washing machine is in trouble, please contact local service office or the sales service department of our company and the customer should not dismantle the machine without permission. If the fault is not solved, buzzes again for 6 seconds in every 16 minutes. Stopping Alarm Open the lid to deal with faults, then close the lid to stop the alarm. E-waste Management Guidelines E-waste Management Guidelines PERTAINING TO THE E-WASTE RULES Proper Handling and / or Recycling of the Washing Machines Under the E-Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011 (hereafter referred to as the "E-Waste Rules"), it is incumbent for all consumers, including the purchaser of this washing machines, to properly recycle and dispose of all electrical and electronic equipment through authorized recyclers. E-Waste has been defined as "waste electrical and electronic equipment, whole or in part or rejects from their manufacturing and repair process, which are intended to be discarded". E-Waste contains various hazardous materials like lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominateddiphenyls ethers. Hence, improper handling and disposal of e-waste releases these hazardous material in the environment causing pollution, contamination of soil and water and various health hazards. Through, the product purchased by you is ROHS compliant & does not contain any hazardous material above the prescribed limit under the E-Waste Rules, it is imperative that the product should be handled with utmost caution and as per the guidelines mentioned in this manual including the following Do's and Don'ts : - Hand over the E-Waste to the Company / Authorised recycles. E-Waste should never be thrown in household bins. Keep the product in isolated area, after it becomes non-functional/un-repairable so as to prevent its accidental breakage. The product should not be opened by the User himself/herself, but only by authorised service personnel. Never sell the e-waste to any unauthorized agencies, scrap dealer/kabadiwalahs. Never throw E-Waste in bins as part of household waste. Never keep E-Waste in open and exposed area, accessible by all. Never open/dismantle any e-waste on your own. The following marking/symbol on the product or carton indicates that the product and its accessories/parts (e.g. remote controller, batteries, spare parts etc.) should not be disposed off with other household waste at the end of their working life. Please separate these items from other types of waste and recycle them responsibly for conservation of the environment and collective well-being.
