CLEAN AGENT HFC-227 / FM-200 Fire Extinguishing System The SIA has is own system European Standard SIA is distributor of Janus Fire Systems for UL Listed FM-200 SIA utilize this gas in areas that may be normally occupied, in locations where clean-up of other agents is problematic, when storage space for a fire suppression agent is restricted, or when an electrically non-conductive agent is required. Each system consists of the following components and their associated accessories. SIA designs, builds and supplies integrated fire fighting systems for the protection of all types of facilities an installations throughout the world which are designed to mitigate the specific risks of each situation. We do support to customer in executive and proposal stage, with our skilled engineering team we are able to provide turnkey solutions, including Engineering, Material Supply, Installation with professional analysis, study and conceptual design to find the correct solutions for consulting engineers and end users. We Work in accordance with the international rules, SIA skilled engineers work out detailed designs including layouts, hydraulic calculation and control networks. SIA Novec 1230 SIA Novec 1230 is an innovative solution that reduces the risk of fire damage in critical applications and sensitive equipment. At a proper system design concentration the extinguishing agent 3M Novec 1230 Fire Protection Fluid absorbs sufficient heat to upset the balance of the fire. This cooling effect is supported by the oxygen reduction in the flame due to the volumetric expansion of the molecules. The high efficiency of this system allows using a low extinguishing concentration. As a result, you need to store only a relatively small amount of the extinguishing agent to safely protect rooms. Additionally, the minimum 10 bar at the nozzle concept used by SIA ensures fast and full evaporation of the Novec 1230 fluid, minimizing extinguishing times. Compact system designs are possible as our system works with the Novec 1230 fluid which offers the lowest design concentration of all currently authorized extinguishing agents. Fewer cylinders and less space are needed for installation and storage because the liquid agent Novec 1230 fluid is stored in cylinders pressurized with 42-bar nitrogen. CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) High pressure and low pressure Carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) is a colorless, odorless, and chemically inert gas that is both readily available and electrically non-conductive. It extinguishes fire primarily by lowering the level of oxygen that supports combustion in a protected area. This mechanism of fire suppression makes CO 2 suppression systems highly effective, requiring minimal clean-up, but should be used in normally unoccupied hazard locations or otherwise avoided by personnel when discharged. CO 2 suppression systems may utilize the gas through a total flooding approach but carbon dioxide is also the only gaseous agent that may be utilized through local application. Carbon dioxide may be stored in either high pressure spun steel cylinders (HPCO 2 suppression systems) or low pressure light wall refrigerated tanks (LPCO 2 suppression systems). SIA CO 2 Systems are designed in agreement with the following rules: NFPA 12 Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing System - 2011 Edition, National Fire Protection Association, Quinc, U.S.A.; Our Hardware is European standard or UL Listed as SIA is distributor of Janus fire systems U.S.A. LPCO 2 Fire Extinguishing System The vessel has an integrated refrigeration system that utilizes CFC-free R-404A refrigerant. A pressure switch monitors the internal pressure of the vessel and controls the refrigeration compressor. The optimal internal pressure is 300 psi (20.7 bar). The refrigeration coils are located in the pressure vessel vapor space to provide the required cooling of the CO 2 vapor. When the CO 2 pressure within the vessel reaches approximately 310 psi (21.4 bar), the pressure switch closes starting the compressor. It continues running, cooling the CO 2 until pressure within the vessel drops to 290 psi (20.0 bar) at which point the pressure switch opens and the compressor stops operating. An optional external tank heater is available to maintain CO 2 pressure in severe low temperatures and is recommended where temperatures are below -10 F (-23.3 C) for seven (7) consecutive days. Each storage unit is fitted with pressure and liquid level gauges. In the event of power failure, a bleeder valve set at 341 psi (23.5 bar) allows a small amount of vaporous CO 2 to bleed out of the vapor space providing natural cooling of the liquid CO 2 within the vessel. An ASME VIII approved safety valve provides emergency pressure relief should the bleeder valve be unable to maintain the CO 2 pressure and is set to open at 357 psi (24.6 bar). HPCO 2 Fire Extinguishing System The SIA/Janus Fire Systems HPCO 2 Fire Extinguishing System utilizes highly pressurized carbon dioxide as the extinguishing medium. Carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) is a dry, inert, non-corrosive fire suppression agent perfectly suited to protect high value assets in normally unoccupied and unoccupiable areas when an electrically non-conductive agent is required and where clean-up of other agents is problematic. Each system consists of the following components and their associated accessories or electronic devices must connect to the control panel in order to function.
