Cubicle and shower tracks are available, either as standard track or treated with Bio-cote, an anti-bacterial coating to help enhance your infection control. We have established contract workrooms, which have in-depth experience in making all curtain types to your suit your specification. Whether you require cubicle, shower, window or stage curtains, MH Contracts can supply them. Fabrics can be chosen from our own specialist range, or we will use a fabric of your choice. We take special care to ensure all our fabrics and blind materials are flame retardant to current BS standards.

At MH Contracts we want to help fulfil your targets with our anti-bacterial curtain and bedding fabrics. Disposable Curtains Disposable curtains have many advantages, including their anti-bacterial characteristics. They are 100% recyclable and permanently pleated at manufacturing stage, meaning they stack back neatly when not in use. Available with plastic eyelets or hooks, they are quick and easy to install onto most existing cubicle track systems, giving you the advantage of rapid replacement in high-risk areas where curtains may need changing often. Most importantly, disposable curtains have been treated with Endurocide, an antibacterial formulation which has proven to be extremely effective in anti-microbial activity. Treated fabrics have been independently tested against a range of bacteria, including MRSA and found to kill the bacteria as soon as it comes into contact with these curtains. anti-bacterial fabrics & cur tains Washable Curtain & Bedding Fabrics A range of washable fabrics, designed by SMD Textiles, which have been treated at manufacturing stage with the leading antibacterial technology, Cliniweave. This technology has been independently tested and found to kill and inhibit the growth of infectious agents associated with hospital acquired infections (HAI s), such as MRSA, Anthrax and SARS. Supported by MH Contracts Fabrics are treated with Cliniweave using a process which has been proven to offer durability to industrial washing temperatures, without losing the fight against unwanted bacteria. Therefore preventing the onward touch transmission of infections, by killing bacteria unknowingly deposited onto surfaces such as curtains and bedding, providing a safe and durable fabric range, that will benefit your patients and medical environment. Anti-Ligature Products Self harm by ligature has become a serious cause for concern; we offer a range of antiligature products that have been designed specifically to reduce the risk of self harm in high risk areas, such as prisons, detention centres or mental health hospitals. There are principally two different types of Anti-ligature product available: Movatrack with Kestrel magnetic wall brackets Silent Gliss hanger safety device A Friction release Manufactured by Silent Gliss this safety system consists of a range of devices from standard hanger rods, to wall supports and brackets systems, to cover the vast majority of room layouts and designs used. This system consists of two components which are accurately machined to slide one inside the other and will come apart when a predetermined load is applied to any of these devices. (Shown in fig. A & B) Silent Gliss wall support Kestrel wardrobe rail B Magnetic Release The Kestrel magnetic release system works on the principle of two components being held together by powerful short-range magnetic attraction. When an abnormal load is applied to the system its magnetic force is overcome and it separates. A range of products are available within this system, including cubicle tracks, blinds, wardrobe rails, soap dishes and coat pegs.
