BUSINESS PROGRAMS 2016 SUMMARY OF SERVICES & INCENTIVES Effective through December 31, 2016 Last updated February 1, 2016 EFFICIENCY INCENTIVES SUMMARY The Focus on Energy Business Programs offer both custom and prescriptive incentives for efficiency projects. These incentives are designed to motivate customers to upgrade equipment, or implement energy efficiency projects that they otherwise may not complete. Unless otherwise specified, the following custom and prescriptive incentives are available to all customers that fall into the following programs: Agriculture, Schools and Government Program (AgSG), Business Incentive Program (BIP), Chain Stores and Franchises Program (CSF), and the Large Energy Users Program (LEU). Be sure to use the incentive catalogs for specific measure requirements and to make sure you qualify for these incentives. OVERVIEW Focus on Energy Business Programs help Wisconsin businesses, schools, non-profits, and government facilities save energy and money while protecting the environment. Focus on Energy provides information, resources and financial incentives to help implement energy efficiency projects. To learn more, visit: www.focusonenergy.com/business To explore special offers that may not be included in this summary, visit: focusonenergy.com/promotions Find information on custom and prescriptive incentives on the following page.

STEP 1 CUSTOM STEP 2 Current custom incentive levels are calculated based on estimated first year energy savings associated with a project/technology. Custom incentive levels are subject to change. Visit focusonenergy.com/custom to find the Custom Incentive Guide and the most current custom information. Custom incentives - $0.03/kWh ($0.02/kWh for lighting projects under LEU) - $100/peak kw* - $0.40/Therm * Peak kw is determined by the average kw load reduction occurring between 1PM and 4PM on weekdays during June, July and August. Other custom incentive requirements: Custom incentives will not be provided for projects with a simple payback less than 1.5 years based on energy savings. Projects are limited to a maximum simple payback of 10 years based on energy savings. LEU customers' simple payback is 5 years based on energy savings. Custom incentives cannot be greater than 50% of a project s cost for AgSG, BIP and CSF. LEU customers' incentives cannot be greater than 30% of a project's cost. LEU customers' projects may be limited to no less than 10% of the project cost. The maximum incentive for a custom project is $200,000 for AgSG and BIP, $250,000 for CSF and $150,000 for LEU customers. The maximum total for all incentives an individual customer may receive per calendar year is $400,000 for AgSG and BIP, $500,000 for CSF and $300,000 for LEU customers. To apply for custom incentives, customers must work with a Focus on Energy Advisor prior to project initiation (ordering equipment or processing purchase orders). Incentive approval will be contingent upon receipt of necessary documentation, such as energy savings calculations and an indication that funds are needed to get the project implemented. PRESCRIPTIVE The following prescriptive incentives are available for products purchased and installed between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. Incentives are subject to change without notice. For the most up to date information, visit www.focusonenergy.com/business Focus on Energy prescriptive incentives offer specific dollar amounts for completing the qualifying energy efficiency measure. The customer completes a project, and then submits an application specific to the technology installed or replaced. Technology qualifications and incentive amounts are found in the appropriate incentive catalog. Projects must meet all of the requirements listed in the appropriate incentive catalog; this summary does not list all requirements. Incentives for certain technologies are not available for Large Energy User Program customers. To check if you are a Large Energy Users Program customer, call 800.762.7077. Applications must be submitted within 60 days of project installation. Please visit focusonenergy.com/applications to ensure you are using the most current incentive catalog. CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR UTILITY PARTICIPATES IN FOCUS ON ENERGY BY VISITING: FOCUSONENERGY.COM/ UTILITIES Focus on Energy only offers incentives for customers of qualifying electric and natural gas providers. Other heat sources (such as propane and district steam) do not qualify for gas measures. Customers of a participating electric utility, but not a participating natural gas utility, will be eligible for electric savings technology incentives only. Customers of a participating natural gas utility, but not a participating electric utility, will be eligible for natural gas savings technology incentives only. Customers who have both a participating electric and a participating gas utility will qualify for all technology incentives.
