Innospann Systems Innospann Steel-Plate For precise machining, Steel-Plate is made of 3-mm-thick stainless steel; for less stringent requirements in regard to tolerance, it is made of galvanized steel (version Steel-Plate-LC). The plate is adjusted to the dimensions of the existing machine table. Both Quad-Base and Mono-Base can be positioned as required. The laser-etched grid markings serve as an orientation aid in the positioning (not with the LC version). Vacuum openings that are not covered can be sealed manually using magnetic sealing plugs. These are available as accessories (p. 13). Innospann Steel-Plate The Innospann Steel-Plate is suitable for flexible retrofitting on all machines with smooth, grid or console tables. On machines with grid tables, the Steel-Plate can be mounted directly on the machine table. This means that uncovered vacuum opening no longer need to be manually sealed with magnetic sealing plugs, and Mono-Base-T and Quad-Base-T can be mounted directly onto the respective Steel-Plate-T and positioned as required in the area of the valves. The vacuum blocks are prefixed magnetically, and the workpieces are clamped by using vacuum. Innospann Steel-Plate-T is suitable for all machines with smooth, grid and console tables. Innospann-Systems Vacuum Blocks for Grid Tables The grid table vacuum blocks can be positioned very quickly. These vacuum blocks not only permit the handling of multipleworkpiece heights they also allow for complex machining of corners and edges. Fits to all CNC machining centers with grid dimensions from 30x30 mm, 40x40 mm and 50x50 mm as well as a groove of 5x5 to 7x7 mm. The vacuum blocks are inserted into the existing grid according to the workpiece and equipped with the required vacuum blocks. Various heights for complex lateral machining are realized with the Mini-Plate-R and Quad-Base-R with standard adapter rings that are available as accessory parts (p. 13). Innospann-Systeme Additional Vacuum Blocks for Grid Tables The vacuum blocks for grid tables can be inserted quickly while also allowing flexibility in where they are positioned. With the various product variants, both large-sized parts and very narrow and curved parts can be clamped. Adapter ring ISAP-R, which fits all common grid dimensions, is used as a mounting adapter for vacuum blocks of type VC-B for Biesse* CNC machines. The vacuum blocks are already equipped with sensing valves (TV) as standard. This allows the uncovered vacuum blocks to remain on the machining table. Adapter ring ISAP-R is often used when another machining center with a grid table is used in addition to a CNC machining center from Biesse*. In this case, the VCBL-B vacuum blocks can be used for both machine types. Mechanical clamp The mechanical clamp series ensures that even with very narrow workpieces such as window frames, sufficient holding force can be generated.
