La Petite Madame Vintage La Petite Madame was started by London-based Emilie Boitard when she found out that she was expecting a baby girl more than 3 years ago when sourcing on behalf of a retailer. Emilie fell in love when she found some beautiful vintage Japanese silk kimonos for little girls right in central Tokyo. I bought the entire stock from a rather bemused but happy grandma. The kimonos fit girls aged 3 to 6 years, are all authentic, hand-stitched and will therefore have minor imperfections. All have been professionally dry-cleaned and stored and make the perfect heirloom gift, luxurious play costume or collector s item.
