Rectangular duct coolers with DX Coil PGDX Rectangular duct coolers with DX coil The PGDX is used for central cooling of the ventilation air in a ventilation system. The PGDX is also used for cooling individual rooms or zones. PGDX 8 standard sizes Same model for left-hand or right-hand installation (reversible coil) Stainless steel condensate drip tray A let eliminator can be fitted regardless of the direction of air Easily removable drip tray to simplify cleaning and inspection Fins with hyhilic coating for better water run-off The coil is easily accessible for cleaning through the removable drip tray Hygiene certified by ILH Berlin in Germany Design The casing is made of Aluzinc-coated sheet steel, AZ 185. The coil has copper tubes and aluminium fins with hyhilic coating. Stainless steel drip tray for condensate collection, with G½ drain connection. Removable drip tray for inspection and cleaning of the coil. Operating data Max. operating pressure: 3,34 MPa (33,4 bar) 4,8 MPa (48 bar) The coils are pressure tested and tested for leakage. The design, that facilitates cleaning and preventing the accumulation of water, contribute to that filth and stagnant water can t introduced bacteria to the air stream. Installation The PGDX is intended for installation in a horizontal duct, with the air in either direction (reversible coil). Droplet eliminator, DE We recommend that a let eliminator should be installed on the outlet side of the coil if the air is in excess of 2.5 m/s. This prevents water lets being entrained by the air out into the duct system. The collected water is discharged through the stainless steel condensate drip tray. The let eliminator is easily accessible after the drip tray has been removed. The let eliminator must be ordered separately. CUSTOMISED DUCT HEATERS, DUCT COOLERS AND CONDENSERS SHS Customised rectangular duct heaters for steam The SHS with rectangular duct connections is designed to use steam as the heating medium and is used for heating the ventilation air in ventilation systems. The duct heater is rated and manufactured to meet the customer s specification. Casing of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel Coil with copper tubes and aluminium fins The pipe connections of the coil have male threads Connections to the ducting by means of bolts Design The casing is made of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel. The coil has copper tubes and aluminium fins. A drawing and specification are submitted together with the quotation. Other material combinations If required, an anti-corrosion treated version of the SHS is available, with stainless steel casing and epoxy-coated aluminium fins or with copper fins, for use in humid and corrosive environments. SHS Operating data Max. operating temperature: + 164 C Max. operating pressure: 0.6 MPa (6 bar) The coils are tested for leakage. Installation The SHS is installed in a horizontal. DXES Other material combinations If required, an anti-corrosion treated version of the DXES is available, with stainless steel casing and epoxy-coated aluminium fins or with copper fins, for use in humid and corrosive environments. CS Other material combinations If required, an anti-corrosion treated version of the CS is available, with stainless steel casing and epoxy-coated aluminium fins or with copper fins, for use in humid and corrosive environments.
