He has prepared International Fire Code adoptions for the Towns of Windsor, Severance and Larimer and Weld Counties in Colorado. Performed over 350 fire investigations at the public level and has worked directly with the Colorado Bureau of Investigations and the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agencies. He was the Incident Commander for the FEMA team when they experienced an F3 Tornado in 2008. He has served on the Weld County Fire Investigations team was the past President of the Northern Colorado Fire Marshals Association and held a seat on the Board of Directors. Mr. Davis managed the Windsor-Severance Fire Districts Business inspection program, Hazardous Materials program and provided environmental impact studies. Mr. Davis entered the private sector in 2014 and has performed over 250 structure and vehicle fires since this time and has lead or participated in multiple joint scene exams. The steel/wood structure totally collapsed during the fire. Numerous pieces of heavy equipment and state, local and private agencies were involved in the investigation. Condominium Complex, Kalispell, MT Structural Fire Investigation This fire originated in one unit and spread to multiple units. There was difficult access because of the ski slope adjoining the property therefore requiring extensive coordination with the demolition contractors during the joint exam. Multiple private engineering and investigative agencies participated in the joint exam over a 3 day period. Commercial Animal Processing Plant Fire, Wolf Creek, MT Structure Fire This was a 30,000 square foot commercial Hog processing plant fire with complete consummation of the structure and the loss of 3,100 hogs. This fire presented Bio-Hazard issues and the coordination with state and local officials and the use of several large pieces of equipment.
