Preliminary separation is effected by a custom-designed cyclone separator. Air pre-filtered in this way only contains lighter particles. The light particles have a percent by weight of approximately 0-20 %. This fine dust is transferred to a filter housing via rigid tubing, where the fine particles are almost completely removed in a class M dust filter in accordance with EN 60335. The filter is cleaned automatically or manually by pushing a button on the front of the unit. The unit comes with filter wear monitoring as standard. The SG-3/3 RC is specially designed for controlled operation at up to three workstations. It has remote-control squeeze valves and remote-control fan power settings. The squeeze valves seal off individual suction lines from the workstations and are pneumatically activated by the suction. As a result, the device does not require a separate power supply. Suction is adjusted automatically depending on the number of open suction points, or can be adjusted manually using a potentiometer. The yellow lights on the front of the unit indicate the open suction points and the turbo function.
