Successful & Sustainable We Need an Organizational Structure to serve as a vehicle to facilitate & encourage : Collective Ownership Multi-diciplinary membership (eg. Scientists, Administrators, Engineers Architects, Technicians, etc ) Multi-Agency membership ( Human health, Animal health, Home security, etc. ) Across-borders membership

Successful & Sustainable We Need an Organizational Structure to serve as a vehicle to facilitate & encourage : Collective Leadership Role of Executive Council Representation at the Council ( preferably multi-agencies, multi-diciplinary, etc ) Policies & Procedures (P&P) Consultation is Key to the success of Collective Leadership

Successful & Sustainable We Need an Organizational Structure to serve as a vehicle to facilitate & encourage : Realistic Business Plan A Not-For-Profit Organization - Constitution & By-Laws Office of the Secretariat A Yearly Budget of Income & Expense Identify Activities that helps generate income Identify Activities that will incur cost (expense) Financial statement must be transparent and be audited annually Collaborations that can help with the funding of activities

Successful & Sustainable We Need an Organizational Structure to encourage the use of membership resources to facilitate activities that : Encourage universal participation (inclusive policy) Formulate programmes that are priorities in promoting the mission & vision of the organization Encourage members contribution to these activities by the formation of committees, task force, etc
