Foreword This 7th Asian Conferenve on Environment-Behaviour Studies (AcE-Bs2016), is also the 20 th international conference to be organized. With the "Innovation, Sharing and Cultural Diversity" as the main theme, it managed to attract an overall total of 59 numbers of approved abstracts. Those finally transformed into 39 approved full papers for this Proceeding. Majority of the papers (79%) were contributed by Malaysia. This was followed by Taiwan (13%), Thailand (5%) and China (3%). The full papers approved were simply grouped generally under 14 sub-categories, although quite a number could have been easily placed under more than one category. The top three categories in order of popularity involved the following environments:- Health & Healing Environment (21%), Children & Youth Environment (13%), and Community Environment (10%). The Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER), the main organiser of AcE-Bs2016, together with the joint Co-Hosts, Graduate Institute of Building & Planning, College of Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan, and the Department of Urban Planning, College of Planning and Design, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, congratulate all contributors in making the conference a tremendous success! Hopefully this conference will inspire and encourage more researchers to participate in our forthcoming serial conferences to be held annually. The increase in participation shall be most highly likely as the Conference Proceedings shall be evaluated by Thomson Reuters (TR) for possible indexing in their Web of Science (WoS). Thanks again for your continuous support as always, and hope for an enlightening conference! Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yusoff Abbas Chair, AcE-Bs2016Taipei, Taiwan President, Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER), 2012-2018. About the Conference Background The 2nCEBS (Second National Conference on Environment-Behaviour Studies) officially soft-launched by FAPS, UiTM Dean during 1nCEBS (14-15 November 2009) was renamed ASEAN Conference on Environment- Behaviour Studies (AcE-Bs). AcE-Bs was organized annually by the Centre for Environment-Behaviour Studies, (ce-bs), FAPS, UiTM Shah Alam, in collaboration with ABRA (Association of Behavioural Researchers on Asians) and AMER(Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers) together with ASEAN aje- Bs / jabs Editorial Board member s establishment as co-host. Prior to 2014, venues for AcE-Bs were in ASEAN countries as determined by the cohost. Due to the limited feasible venues, commencing 2014, AcE-Bs shall be organised in any Asian countries. As such the conference had been renamed Asian Conference on Environment-Behaviour Studies (AcE-Bs), and shall be fully organized by AMER. AcE-Bs conference themes address Environment-Behaviour issues which particularly affect the Asian region. Papers from other regions are also most welcome if those are suited to the theme of the conferences. As Elsevier's Procedia Social and Behavioural Sciences Journal shall cease publication, selected papers for the proceedings shall now be published by our associate publisher based in UK, the e-iph Ltd, UK (e-international Publishing House) in the E-B Proceedings Journals (EBPJ), to be freely accessible at www.e-iph.co.uk. Further selection of the best papers, condensed, shall be published in the double-blind peer review international journals - aje-bs (Asian Journal of Environment-Behaviour Studies) and jabs (Journal of ASIAN Behavioural Studies).
