regen is a range of intelligent ovens suitable for plated and multi-portion reheating prior to just-in-time service. Powered by innovative technology and electronically controlled with precision, regen holds the humidity contained in food, wrapping it like a blanket enhancing flavours and essential nutrients. GRE 051 C/D/E GRE 050 C/D/E A small profile oven with a capacity of 5 x GN 2/3. A perfect oven for plated reheat. Counter top or inserted into cabinetry, the GRE 050 is a compact powerhouse of opportunity. A compact 5 level oven that can be fitted with 5 GN 1/1 shelves/ equivalent pans or 5 x 400 mm x 600 mm (15.75 x 23.62 in) wire shelves, the GRE 051 is the perfect solution for bulk or plated reheating with or without steam. RRO 081 C/D/E When larger quantities of food are in need of attention, this 8 level oven fitted with GN 1/1 shelves/equivalent pans or 8 x 400 mm x 600 mm (15.75 x 23.62 in) wire shelves, is the go to solution for gentle and even reheating with or without steam. RRO 121 C/D/E A powerful 12 level oven for GN 1/1 shelves/ equivalent pans or 400 mm x 600 mm (15.75 x 23.62 in) wire shelves. (on E version only) ClimaChef Is an electronic and automatic feature monitoring the climate in the cavity to get the best consistency and always tasty and crispy food in a safe and intelligent way. (Standard on D and E versions of GRE range) Clima Chef can be accomplished by connecting the system to a water supply OR by adding an integrated water reservoir using a removable water jug (RRO Series) or by using an integrated front drawer system (GRE Series). Pre-Plated Rethermalization Whether it is fresh or frozen, the regen delivers a quality product. regen supports both local tray assembly (where food is assembled in a pantry on the ward) or centralized assembly when the tray is delivered to the ward from a kitchen. Stainless steel ensures the regen is durable and easily maintained. It s available with multiple shelf capacities. The 8 level regen for example has the capacity to hold up to 30 eight-inch plates and occupies the footprint of only oneand-a-half microwaves. The regen is shown here within the Burlodge Multi-Cook system for locally assembled trays at pantry/ward level.

regen vs. Microwave regen is a suitable alternative to the Microwave. One regen oven can produce 30 plated meals in 28 minutes. (Loading the oven once and serving food when needed) while four microwaves produce 30 meals in 30 minutes at 4 minutes per cycle. However, each microwave must be loaded approximately 7 times and timing above does not account for taking the plates in and out. Food must be served immediately when using microwaves but a regen oven allows the operator to hold meals hot if service is delayed. regen Microwave Can reheat all types of foods Some types of foods do not work Can reheat plated meals or metal pans/lids for bulk food Only plated meals can be reheated (no metal) Foods can be brown or crisped No browning or crisping After rethemalization, the food can be held at serving temperature Must be served in a specified amount of time Food is heated evenly Hot and cold spots can occur Optional steam function retains moisture in food No steam function available Integrated HACCP logging and core food probe No HACCP function or food probe in place Seperate timers available for each shelf, giving the ability for multi-level reheating 1 timer per microwave Uses convected heat Uses electromagnetic radiation
