HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN Health & Safety Environment Policy 1. All personnel working with in KALUVAN Electromechanical works LLC installations and operational areas shall be fully conversant with safety regulations. 2. All persons and vehicles entering KALUVAN Electromechanical Works LLC installations and operational areas shall be in possession of appropriate valid security passes. 3. Smoking is prohibited in all hazardous areas. Matches / lighters of all kinds, non flame proof torches must not be taken into such areas. 4. Personnel protective equipment must be worn by all employees as stipulated by the respective authorities. 5. All tools and equipments must be inspected, calibrated and tested for safety before being used. 6. All crane, hoist or lifting tackle is to be brought into the working premises must have a copy of valid inspection certificate. 7. All employees working for KALUVAN Electromechanical Works LLC shall be familiar with the location of nearest fire alarm, evacuation signal, escape routes, assembly point and the correct extinguishers and their location. 8. All employees working close to the edges of roofs, on scaffolding at heights should have the precautions of guard rails, toe boards and safety harnesses. 9. While using welding equipments, fire proof screens must be installed to protect the employees from welding flashes. 10. Any employees if involved in or witnessing an accident (such as injury, vehicle collision, fire, property damage, atmospheric pollution etc or a near miss) shall inform the respective super visor. 11. All employees working for KALUVAN Electromechanical Works LLC shall at all time ensure that they are thoroughly familiar with all emergency response procedures. 12. All employees and supervisors working for KALUVAN Electromechanical Works LLC shall obtain periodic safety trainings.
