TYA Series Vacuum Oil Purifier APPLICATION TYA Series Vacuum Oil Purifier is specially designed for treating Used Vegetable oil, Hydraulic oil, Coolant oil, mineral oil, Heat treatment oil, Gear oil etc. TYA can effectively remove gas, water, impurities and other contaminants from oil, and strongly demulsify, by which to reduce oil's water content and impurity content, improve oil cleanness. After treatment, the oil s technical parameters and properities are improved, prolonging oil service life and ensuring safety operation of industrial equipment. Due to it s function, TYA Oil Purifier can be also used for treating some other oil such as used cooking oil, Vegetable oil (Pre-treatment or Post-treatment for producing biodiesel), etc. This machine is widely used for various industries such as the mine, metallurgy, electric power, transportation, manufactures etc., where need to maintain lubricating systems. ADVANTAGES This machine can fast degas, dewater, and remove the impurity and the volatile matter (for example ethyl alcohol, gasoline, ammonia and so on). Improves oil quality and performance, restores the lubricating oil parameters such as viscosity, flash point,etc.,thus ensure the hydraulic system, dynamic system and lubricating system running normally. WORKING PRINCIPLE When TYA starts working, the used oil will be poured into the heater by vacuum pressure, then the oil will be heated and flows into primary filter to remove the big impurities. Then the oil flows into the vacuum separator, the oil will flow the special radiation device, which make the unit/volume oil to produce a large surface area, lets the pollution oil exposure in the low humidity atmosphere, thus the water, air and gas can be eliminated. The treated vapor and gas form the gaseous mixture becomes the liquid through the water tank and the chiller condensation, then the liquid enters water receiver together, the vacuum extracts the surplus gas. The oil which is drained away water flow into fine filter where can remove tiny particulates. According to the quantity of the water content, a whole purification process may needs several times circulation to reach better oil. OPTIONALS 1. Explosion-proof type 2. With flow meter 3. PART II OPERATION INSTRUCTION INSTALLATION This machine should be placed on the horizontal ground and ley down steadily. This machine is movable which can move to any where as per your requirement. You should choose the suitable power cable, which can support the biggest electric current of the machine. TESTING 1. Shut off oil inlet valve 1, oil outlet valve 12 and connect the oil inlet and outlet pipes. Turn on valve 8, vacuum connection valve 16 and turn off all other vales that have a passage to the atmosphere. Make sure the pipes that connect the parts of the machine are not blocked. 2. Correctly connect the power cable. 3. Start the vacuum pump and oil outlet pump, make sure the pump rotation direction is right, meanwhile ensure the vacuum pump motor and oil pump motor working normally. 4. Make sure the temperature controller and heater is interlocked, which means the temperature controller should control the heater in an instant. 5. Start the vacuum pump, then stop it for five minutes when the max vacuum degree is reached and stays steady, ensuring the vacuum index must not drop by 0.001Mpa, otherwise you should locate and fix the gas leaking spot. 6. The index of pressure controller is set at 0.25Mpa by our engineers. OPERATION PROCEDURE 1. Turn on vacuum connection valve 16, start vacuum pump and observe the rising of vacuum degree. 2. When the vacuum degree reaches -0.07Mpa, turn on oil inlet valve 1 to let the oil in. 3. When the oil enters the vacuum tank, open temperature controller to heat the oil (choose a suitable temperature according to your needs), when the oil level reaches the middle of the level gauge, open the oil outlet valve and start the oil outlet pump to let out the oil. 4. Observe the change of pressure gauge (the exhausting pressure is limited between 0~0.4Mpa, and it is usually at 0Mpa when the machine is in operation), check the oil pump and pipe joints for leakage. If this is the case, please fix it instantly and close the relief valve to make sure the machine work properly. 5. Adjust the inlet valve to control the flow rate of oil,so that a balance of inlet oil and outlet oil can be achieved. Set the oil level at the middle of the oil level gauge. When there is too much foam in vacuum tank, adjust the vacuum valve to get the best purifying quality. Note that the vacuum degree should not be too low in case that the oil will not be sucked in. (When the machine is in a normal operation, the infrared controller will handle the oil pump automatically. That is, when the oil level reaches the upper limit, the oil pump will be started automatically or shut down at the lower limit by the infrared auto-controller).

6. After the oil is in smooth circulation, start the auto-control heater. Note: before start the heater, set the temperature between 45 ~ 65 (65 is the best), then decide whether start the manual heater according to the amount of used oil and the temperature of the environment (it mainly applied to TYA-10 and larger machines). 7. If the oil needs to be filtered many times, close the outlet valve 12 and open the circulating valve 21 so that the oil will be purified repeatedly before flowing out. After a period of operation, you can take oil sample from the sample valve 13 and test it. 8. When adopting the machine to inject oil or vacuum drying, auxiliary vacuum source and auxiliary heater are usually not needed. The vacuum and heater of the machine is sufficient for drying the device. NOTICE: a). When use the spraying method or pouring oil method, ensure the whole core is covered. When using periodic circulation purification (delamination dry method), control the oil inlet speed, the oil temperature, and the periodic circulation time according to the operation instructions. b). There should be some good oil in vacuum tank before the machine start working so as to guarantee the oil level balance of the transformer while the purifier is working. INSTRUCTION 1. The environment temperature should be between -25 ~ 45 when the machine is working. 2. The altitude height of the working spot will influence the vacuum degree of the machine directly. The higher the altitude height is, the lower the vacuum degree is (negative value). 3. The used oil can not be too dirty ( the oil don t have too many impurities), otherwise it should use other purification plant to pre filter sufficiently such as JL Portable Oil Purifying and Oiling Machine. The measure avoids influencing the efficient of degassing and the lifetime of the machine. STOPPING When the machine finish the purification or the machine need to be stop at the midway: 1. Stop heater, and shut off the oil inlet valve after continue to inject oil 3~5 minutes. 2. Close vacuum pump. Close vacuum pump valve and open vent valve in order to release vacuum. 3. When finish exhausting the oil in vacuum tank, close the exhausted oil pump. 4. Open the valve which is at the inferior extremity of the cooler to drain away the rest oil and water, remember close the valve after drain away the rest oil and water so it can be used next time. 5. If have emergent situation, press the emergent button and the machine has no power. If want to open the machine, pls round the emergent button according to the clockwise direction so that open all control button. NOTICES IN OPERATION 1. When vacuum pump is working, pls note the oil situation of the oil level (the oil is above the oil level). if

there are much water in vacuum pump oil or the oil is too dirty, replace instantly to avoid influencing the lifetime of vacuum pump. 2. If there are much water in the cooler when running, pls drain away instantly. First close valve17, open valve18, 19 so that the water can be drained away from valve. k). Pls observe the pressure gauge. When filtering oil, if the pressure>0.3mpa, clean purifier instantly or replace the filter parts. 3. The filter screen of the primary filter and secondary filter should be often clean in order to avoid jamming which cause lack of inlet oil or high pressure. When the capacity of the inlet oil is fewer, it means that the impurities in the filter net are much. Pls clean the net instantly. 4. Note whether the noise of the pump and related electric motor is normal when on-line. If there is abnormal situation, pls resolve the problem right now to avoid burning electric motor and influencing the lifetime of the oil pump. 5. If the machine should not be used, pls drain away the oil in vacuum pump and inject new oil. SPECIAL ATTENTION A). Live-line operation can only be conducted on sunny days B). Connecting inlet and outlet pipes must be instructed by electric engineers. C). Before live-line operation, the oil purifier must be in a good condition (the heating, vacuum generating, and filtering system) D). Open the outlet valve before starting the oil pump, or the filter will be damaged. E). There must be oil in the heating vessel before heating, or the heater will be damaged. MAINTENANCE 1. After a certain period of running, the machine should be checked to see whether: a) The electrical control system is safe and reliable; b) The temperature controller is sensitive, reliable and accurate; c) Oil seals of the pump shaft are broken with leakage; d) There is any blockage with the running system and any abnormal noise with pumps or related motors; e) There is any air or oil leakage with the oil running system and at sealing joints. 2. After each 3000 hours running, grease shall be replenished to prevent motors from being burnt. 3. Special vacuum pump oil or lubricating oil N46 should be used for the vacuum pump and oil replaced or replenished if necessary at any time. 4. If the machine will not be used over 1 month, Place the machine in a dry environment with the panel door and all valves closed, and the machine proper protected by a covering.
