TO EMPTY THE RECOVERY TANK Turn off the unit (switch in the 0 position. Disconnect the plug from the electrical current socket. Release the tank by raising the tank fixture handle bar. Remove the tank, and proceed with the emptying and cleaning procedures. Put the tank back into its original position and fix it in place by pressing down on the fixture handle bar. Never leave waste material of any kind in the tank for long periods of time. Do not fill the tank over the limit of the warning peep hole. TO CLEAN THE FILTER Make sure the unit is turned off (switch in the 0 position). The filter can be cleaned using the special filter-cleaning handle on the lid or on the side of the upper tank. TO REPLACE THE FILTER Make sure the unit is turned off (switch in the 0 position). Disconnect the plug from the electrical current socket. Unlatch the lid, raise it and remove the filter. Using a screw driver, loosen the fixture bank around the filter and remove the filter from the ring.
