Hoval alufer technology The special design of the alufer heat exchanger increases the surface area for heat transmission by a factor of 5. This means that 10-20 % of the energy in the flue gas can be recovered, increasing the UltraGas efficiency considerably. The better conductivity of the alufer aluminium on the inside and stainless steel on the outside optimises the transfer of heat energy to the boiler water with added benefit of being ultra durable, making the UltraGas highly economical. cooled exhaust hot exhaust Additional heat gains Condensation technology Improved condensation design Flue gases always contain steam; however, this condensing design allows the flue gases and the steam they contain to be cooled by an additional heat exchanger in the boiler. The latent heat in the flue is transferred to the incoming cold water, increasing the efficiency of the boiler. This is due to less fuel being required to raise the water temperature. Modern Ultraclean burner technology The modulating burner means the UltraGas adapts its output continuously to suit the heat required. The result is fewer energy-consuming burner starts, greater efficiency and significantly lower emissions. Separate high and low temperature return flows The UltraGas boiler provides the optimal conditions for condensation. This is because of the stepped heat transfer between the separate high and low temperature return flows and the flue gases. This highly efficient condensation design means lower consumption of fuel and therefore lowers running costs. 3
Large water capacity energy efficiency The large water capacity of the boiler guarantees continuous operation of the burner and fewer starts. This significantly reduces consumption and therefore emissions. Double / Multiple boilers maximum output If a very high output is needed or if maximum reliability is required, the UltraGas can be used in a double or multiple boiler configuration. The TopTronic T regulator allows up to five boilers to be centrally controlled in a cascade. Large water capacity simple integration The UltraGas does not require a minimum amount of circulating water, minimum boiler return, or flue gas temperatures due to its large water capacity. This makes for simple integration into any heating system. Compact design save space Its compact design makes the UltraGas the unit of choice for wet areas. The unit is easy to transport, takes up little space in boiler rooms, and can be positioned against a wall without the need for clearance. No primary pump is required and the low flow resistance allows the use of a small, energy saving circulating pump instead. 4
