Gate Operator Modfications
100va Transformer G90 100 OP1 - Single Phase G90 100 OP3 -Three Phase Upgrades the transformer in the operator enclosure from 40va to 100va. Provides additional control circuit power for auxiliary equipment such as loop detectors, gearbox heaters, electrical box heaters, and other devices.
Post Mount Kit G305 803002 Consists of 4 U-bolts and hardware for 3" pipe to post mount a gate operator.
Timer-to-Close G71 26438 Provides an adjustable timer (1 sec. - 17 minutes) in the operator control circuit which will close the gate automatically after the preset, adjustable time interval. Will close the gate from any position other than full close, i.e. any mid-position as well as full open. If the timer has partially timed out, it can be reset to the full time interval by actuation of any open control or any safety device. May be factory or field installed. 26 438 -Timer to Close Kit
Auxiliary Limit Switches, Wire Leads G90 9210 Each switch, or pole, provides a means to control auxiliary lights, horns, or other equipment. The switch can be used to turn on or off such equipment when the gate is fully opened or fully closed. When ordering, specify whether the auxiliary switch is required on the OPEN or CLOSE side of the control enclosure (corresponding to controlling auxiliary equipment when the gate is fully opened or fully closed respectively). A maximum of two poles per operator may be supplied, one on the OPEN side and one on the CLOSE side. Each pole is SPDT, rated 10 amps, 250VAC and is provided with leads for wire-nut connection to field wiring. Must be factory installed
Auxiliary Limit Switches, Term. Block Conn. G90 9210 T Same as G90 278002 except terminal block connection points instead of wire leads are provided for field wiring. Must be factory installed.
Auxiliary Contact Block, Wire Leads G90 278002 Each pole provides a means to control auxiliary lights, horns, or other equipment. The contacts can be used to turn on (form A contact) or turn off (form B contact) such equipment while the gate is moving. When ordering, specify whether the auxiliary contact block is required on the OPEN or CLOSE side of the contactor (corresponding to controlling auxiliary equipment while the gate is opening or closing respectively). A maximum of two poles per operator may be supplied, one on the OPEN side and one on the CLOSE side. Each pole consists of one Form A contact and one Form B contact rated 10 amps, 250VAC, with wire leads for wire-nut connection to field wiring. Must be factory installed.
Auxiliary Contact Block, Term. Block Conn. G90 278002-T Same as 2B0422 except terminal block connection points instead of wire leads are provided for field wiring.
Long-Distance Control Wiring (24VDC) 2B0422 A necessity when controls are to be located more than 100 feet from the operator. Allows up to 1000 feet of control wiring between controls and operator with 16-gauge wire. WARNING: It is strongly recommended that all controls be located so that the person operating the control has a clear view of the gate opening and moving gate.
Long-Distance Control Wiring (115VAC) G90 50115 A necessity when controls are to be located more than 1000 feet from the operator. Allows up to 2500 feet of control wiring between controls and operator with 16-gauge wire. WARNING: It is strongly recommended that all controls be located so that the person operating the control has a clear view of the gate opening and moving gate.
Non-Resettable Counter G90 503000 A 6-digit non-resettable 24VAC electro-mechanical counter is mounted in the operator control enclosure. This counts the number of times the Open coil is energized, corresponding to the number of complete gate cycles of use (counts both partial and complete cycles as one cycle each). Must be factory installed.
Thermostat Control Heater, 115V (Fin Type) G65 18300 (Except for ) G65 18508 (Only for ) The heater is designed to maintain a suitable temperature inside a control enclosure. The heater uses a high surface area aluminum heat emitter to eliminate the need for a fan while providing low-radiation and high-convection heating to the enclosure. The thermostat rating is 25A at 240V, SPST, adjustable from 30-120 F (0 to 50 C). Must be factory installed. NOTE: Model requires band-style heater G65 18508.
Self-Regulating Heater, 115/230V (Tape Wrap) G65 3011 1 Coiled heater cable is installed in the frame of the operator, helping to regulate the temperature. The cable delivers about 25 watts of heat at 50 F but this rises to about 50 watts at temperatures below freezing. In gear-reduced machines, this keeps gear oil from becoming sluggish, which causes poor operation at low temperatures. In all machines, it helps keep the unit dry, particularly useful when heavy condensation is experienced. As the ambient temperature rises above 70 F, the output of the heater cable continues to fall, until almost no heat is given off at high summer temperatures.
Self-Regulating Heater, 115V (Plug Type) G65 3012BG G65 3012SL G65 3012SW An immersion heater is inserted in the drain opening of the gear reducer. Heater is self-regulating and keeps gear oil warm to prevent sluggish operation or overloading in cold weather. Heater will shut off above 45 F. Requires a 115V power and is therefore suggested for use on a115vac operators only, where power is obviously present. For higher voltage units see Self-Regulating Heater, 230V. Must be factory installed.
Self-Regulating Heater, 230V (Plug Type) G65 3012BGC G65 3012SLC G65 3012SWC An immersion heater is inserted in the drain opening of the gear reducer. Heater is self-regulating and keeps gear oil warm to prevent sluggish operation or overloading in cold weather. Heater will shut off above 45 F. A transformer is supplied with this modification to provide power to the heater, thus making this version compatible with 230V or 460V operators. Must be factory installed.
Separate Controls In NEMA 4X Enclosure G90 3004 In this modification all electrical control equipment that is not mechanically connected to the operator powerhead is provided in a separate watertight enclosure (NEMA 4X). The limit switches and brake solenoid (if present) remain on the operator. The starter, control transformer, control relays, and other optional components are pre-wired in the separate enclosure. Terminal points are provided for both the interwiring between operator/starter and for the connection of controls and safety equipment. This modification is useful in applications where ease of operator maintenance is a factor and in cases where non-standard control systems become too large to fit into standard operator electrical enclosures. Must be factory installed.
Limit Relay Kit G71 20432 A necessity when applications require single button control, shadow loop, or courtesy light on all S3 board gate operators.
Fire Access Release System for Slide Gates G50-FAR The fire access release system offers a quick and efficient way to allow emergency vehicles and personnel to gain access through the gate system during power outage. It is available for use with all chain drive slide gate operators.
