Food safety in fresh produce including safe postharvest practices for vegetables and use of non-chemical methods to reduce the plant pathogens such as B. cinerea and human pathogen such as E.coli. Using organic and bio-fertilizers to produce healthy and safety vegetable crops include potatoes and some leafy vegetables. Evaluate the response of salt stress on some gene expression identification of marker genes of tomatoes. Employment History: 1- Demonstrator at Vegetable Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University from 1997 to 2001. 2- Assistant lecturer at Vegetable Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University from 2001 to 2007. 3- Assistance professor at Vegetable Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University from 2007 to 2013. 1

4- Associate professor at Vegetable Crops Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University from Dec 2014 to now. The main duties of all previous jobs are teaching, research and student supervision. Projects: 1- PI in the project of "Influence of saline irrigation on production, quality and storage ability of tomato fruits" funded by IMHOTEB program (French Institute and Academy of Scientific Research & Technology) for 2 years 2015 and 2016. 2- Researcher in the project of "organic production and storage ability of strawberry, pepper and snap bean under protected cultivation at project of Increase export competition for some vegetable crops" funded by Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture, from 2007 to 2015. 3- Researcher in the project of "organic production of potato" funded by Cairo University for 2 years 2009 and 2010.
