Memorial Day Observance The Round Lake Memorial Day Observance will be held at 12:00 (noon) on: Monday, May 29th at the Round Lake Veterans Memorial. The keynote address will be presented by: New York State Senator Jim Tedisco. A complimentary picnic lunch will be provided on the library lawn immediately following the program. In the event of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved to the auditorium. Please plan on attending as we honor those service members who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom.
Storm Water Pollution According to federal regulations, many cities and industries must reduce water pollution from storm sewers. We can help by taking steps around the home to increase the amount of water that soaks into the ground. This reduces the amount of water flowing into the street. Here's what you can do: Plant trees, shrubs or ground cover. Maintain a healthy lawn. Redirect down spouts from paved areas to vegetated areas. Install gravel trenches along driveways or patios. Use porous materials such as wooden planks or bricks for walkways and patios. If building a new home, have the driveway and walkways graded so water flows onto lawn areas. Use a rain barrel to catch and store water for gardens. Wash your car on the lawn, not the driveway, or take your car to a commercial car wash.
We are updating our records! Please fill out and drop off at the Village office or slip under the door Name PO Box Phone number(s) Email address Thank you!
