Installation Guide Product Information The XL-10S/XL-25S is a motion sensor controlled LED floodlight for various indoor/outdoor applications such as illumination of walkway, car porch, garden, low usage area, etc. The XL-10S/ XL-25S can be programmed to operate during low light level. The XL-10S/XL-25S has an ingress protection rating of IP54, which makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Installation Guide Set Up Instructions Disconnect the power supply before installing the floodlight. The unit is to be wall mounted with four screws. Separate the base of the floodlight by removing the 2 screws. Mark the position of the 2 mounting holes with pencil before drilling. 6mm The mains supply lead is a 3-core cable. L = Live and N = Neutral. Drill the two 6mm screw heads onto the wall, and secure the base of the floodlight with the two longer screws. After the wiring is completed, secure the floodlight to its base with the 2 screws. Make sure the conductors are connected to the correct terminals. 5 Floodlight XLS

Cascade Networking Application The XL-10S/XL-25S can be wired up to control other electrical devices The XL-10S/XL-25S can also be wired up with more XL-10S/XL- 25S floodlights to expand the motion sensor detection zone. If any of the XL-10S/XL-25S detects a motion, it will switch ON its LED and inform the rest of the XL-10S/XL-25S to switch ON their respective LED. The AZPOSE sensor floodlights are installed at the porch of the house. The sensor is triggered when a person comes within the determined range of detection. The floodlights, which are interconnected in the cascade network setting, will be switched on. Installation Guide 6

Installation Guide Permanent Light Function (4 Hrs) If the XL-10S/XL-25S is installed with a main AC switch, the XL-10S/XL-25S LED can be forced to switch ON for 4hrs. Activating 4hrs Permanent ON mode: normal x1 De-Activating 4hrs Permanent ON mode: 5 sec 4 hours Assuming the XL-10S/XL-25S is powered on and in normal operation: Switch OFF and ON the main AC switch in rapid succession (Interval between 0.5-1 sec). The XL-10S/XL-25S will go to permanent ON for 4 hrs. After 4 hrs, the XL-10S/XL-25S will resume back to normal operation. Switch OFF the main AC switch and wait for 5 sec. Motion Sensor Range Dial The Motion Sensor Range Dial allows you to define the coverage range of the motion sensor up to a maximum range of 12m. To set the motion sensor detection range to 3m, turn the dial fully anti-clockwise. To set the motion sensor detection range to 12m, turn the dial fully clockwise. Please note the floodlight should be mounted at a height of 2.5m - 3m. When a person comes within the determined range of detection, the sensor will be triggered. Upon triggering the sensor, the floodlight will be turned on. The ON TIME Dial allows you to set the duration that the floodlight will remain ON from the last motion detection. Installation Guide 8

Please read the instructions carefully before installing the AZPOSE Floodlight to ensure long-lasting, reliable and smooth operation. Principle The AZPOSE XL-S is a motion sensor controlled LED floodlight for various indoor/outdoor applications such as illumination of walkway, car porch, garden and low usage areas. It can also be programmed to operate during low light level. Motion detectors will detect motion which triggers the XL-10S/XL-25S to turn on. The XL-10S/ XL-25S can also turn on secondary devices such as burglar alarms* or other lighting fixtures when triggered. * Note that not all burglar alarms may be supported. To ensure maximum motion detection, install the floodlight with the sensor aimed across the direction in which a person would walk and make sure the line of sensor vision is not obstructed. Safety warnings Disconnect the power supply before installing the floodlight. Installing the light involves working on the mains power supply. Please engage professional electrician for the installation to avoid any risk of electrocution. Please familiarise yourself with these instructions before attempting to install the floodlight. Suitable for outdoor and indoor use. This floodlight is intended for wall mounting only. Installation Motion sensor coverage range is determined by the mounting height of the XL-10S/XL-25S floodlight. To obtain the maximum reach of 12m, the sensor should be installed at a height of 2.5m - 3m. Install the unit on a firm surface to avoid unintentional triggering. Important: Connecting the conductors to the wrong terminals will produce a short circuit in the unit or your fuse box at a later stage when you turn on the power. In this case, you must identify the individual cables and re-connect them. The mains supply lead is a 3-core cable. L = phase conductor (usually black or brown) N = neutral conductor (usually blue) PE = protective-earth conductor (green/yellow) 9 Floodlight XLS

Functions Ambient Dial Ambient Dial: Determines under what light level condition (2-2000 lux) to disable the XL-10S/XL-25S floodlight. Turn Dial to fully clockwise position = XL-10S/XL-25S will be operational and surrounding light level will be ignored. Turn Dial to midway position = XL-10S/XL-25S will be operational when surround light level is less than 1000 lux. Turn Dial to fully anti-clockwise position = XL-10S/XL-25S will be operational when surround light level is less than 2 lux. ON TIME Dial Programs the duration that the XL-10S/XL-25S will remain switched ON from the last motion detection. There are 7 settings for ONTIME : 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes. Turn Dial to fully anti-clockwise position = 5 sec ON TIME. Turn Dial to fully clockwise position = 15 minutes ON TIME. Motion Sensor Range Dial Allows the user to define the motion sensor coverage range up to a maximum range of 12m. Turn Dial to fully anti-clockwise position = Motion sensor coverage range is 3m. Turn Dial to fully clockwise position = Motion sensor coverage range is 12m.* * Mounted at a height of 2.5m - 3m. Installation Guide Reach setting/adjustment The detection zone can be optimised to suit requirements. The shrouds provided are used for blanking out any number lens segments or to shorten reach as required. This prevents the light from being activated unintentionally, e.g. by cars, passers-by etc., and allows you to target danger spots. The shrouds can be divided or cut with a pair of scissors along the vertical and horizontal grooves. After removing the decorative ring, the shrouds can be clipped on at the top of the sensor lens. The decorative ring must now be pushed back on to hold the shrouds firmly in place. You can turn the sensor housing through ± 80 for precision adjustment. Permanent light function If a mains switch is installed in the mains supply lead, the light is capable of the following functions in addition to the simple ON / OFF function: Sensor operation 1) Switch light ON (when floodlight is OFF ): Switch OFF and ON once. LEDs stay ON for the period selected. 2) Switch light OFF (when floodlight is ON ): Switch OFF and ON once. Floodlight goes out or switches to sensor mode. Manual override 1) Activate manual override: Turn switch OFF and ON once. The floodlight is set to stay on for 4 hours (red LED lights up behind the lens). Then it returns automatically to sensor mode (red LED off). 2) Deactivate manual override: Switch OFF and ON once. Floodlight goes out or switches to sensor mode. Declaration of conformity This product complies with Low Voltage Directive 06/95/EC, EMC Directive 04/108/EC as well as RoHS Directive 02/95/EC. Functional warranty This AZ e-lite product has been manufactured with utmost care, tested for proper operation and safety and then subjected to random sample inspection. AZ e-lite guarantees that it is in perfect condition and proper working order. The warranty period is 36 months and starts on the date of sale to the consumer. We will remedy defects caused by material flaws or manufacturing faults. The warranty will be met by repair or replacement of defective parts at our own discretion. The warranty shall not cover damage to wear parts, damage or defects caused by improper treatment or maintenance. Further consequential damage to other objects is excluded. Claims under the warranty will only be accepted if the unit is sent fully assembled and well-packed with a brief description of the fault, a receipt or invoice (date of purchase and dealer s stamp) to the appropriate Service Centre.
