THE DEANTA COLLECTION 012 013 At Deanta we manufacture and supply a wide range of beautifully crafted stylish interior doors. Our collection includes oak, walnut, dark grey ash, abachi and white primed doors along with a selection of ire doors. All Deanta doors are made to the highest standard with only the inest of materials ensuring you get the best from your contemporary Deanta door. Our design team tirelessly follow the door industry to come up with new, exciting designs to add to our ever-increasing collection. And our rigorous testing procedures ensure that only the very best doors make it to market. Deanta ofers the largest lippings available in the UK internal door market. All of our doors have 18mm lippings around the entire door meaning that a total of 32mm can be taken of the height and width of all our standard doors ensuring they will it into any size opening. * We only ever produce solid doors that are heavy and robust and are inished with specially selected crown cut oak and walnut veneers to give a real timber look and feel. Our white primed doors are produced in the same way as our oak and walnut doors and are ready for a one-coat inish. DEANTA S COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY We want our business to have a net positive efect on the world around us. Here s how we do it. We only ever source our wood from forests with sound environmental forest management schemes. Such schemes ensure the forest s biodiversity, productivity, and ecological processes, as well as protecting the rights of local people. We are certiied by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC ) and all of our preinished oak and walnut doors and packaging materials are made from 100% FSC certiied material. We are members of the TTF and therefore work in accordance with the TTF s Code of Conduct. This sets out the principles by which all TTF Members agree to behave, to ensure high standards of professionalism and integrity. It applies to members business as well as the products they sell. An important part of this process is verifying the due diligence we undertake to best ensure our products do not contain any illegal timber. We manufacture our doors and, as such, can guarantee that all of our timber products are sourced from independently certiied forests. We never rely on thirdparties to source our wood ensuring that each and every door is made from responsibly sourced timber.
INFO TERMS & CONDITIONS 100 101 We ofer a limited ten year warranty on all our doors. Any Deanta door that warps* or splits will be covered by our warranty once the installation has met all guidelines. Please note colour variance in the wood is not considered a manufacturing fault as it a natural product. THE FOLLOWING MUST BE CARRIED OUT TO ENSURE THE BEST PERFORMANCE FROM YOUR DEANTA DOOR All doors must be examined immediately on receipt and prior to installation as claims or faults will not be accepted once the door has been removed from packaging. This excludes manufacturing faults that occur after hanging. All doors must be measured individually when having glass itted. Deanta doors are hand-assembled, and as such, we cannot guarantee each aperture is the exact same size. We recommend you use a qualiied glass itter. Doors must be stored horizontally on a clean, dry, lat and level surface. Three coats of internal wood inish are required on uninished doors and on any modiications to a preinished door including the ironmongery and hinge cut-outs. We recommend the use of three sets of hinges per door. We recommend varnish and lacquers that are suitable for interior joinery. If using oils please contact Deanta for recommended brands. Under our warranty, our liability is limited to replacing the door and no liabilty is accepted for any consequential costs. Alteration of a Deanta door will void the warranty. * Warp/bow/cup/twist (as set out in the relevant British Standard) shall not be considered a defect unless it exceeds 1/4 inch (6.35mm) in the plane of the door itself. Warp is any distortion in the door itself and does not refer to the relationship of the door to the frame or jamb in which it is hung. Doors must not be itted in a house that is freshly plastered and doors should only be delivered to site after all wet trades are inished and suiciently dried. A moisture reading taken by an engineer must be recorded. For doors to acclimatize, they should be left in the house prior to installation for at least seven days with the ambient temperature gradually increased over this period. Should a door require alteration, cutting or planing, it must be immediately revarnished to prevent moisture absorption which may lead to warping or splitting. Take no more than 32mm of the width and height of doors in equal amounts on all edges. Planed edges of preinished doors must be reinished using three coats of internal wood inish.
