Description of use of lighting control A sensor on the roofs of buildings measures the amount of the sunlight and angle of the solar rays. The system management of lighting automatically brightens or darkens lighting in buildings depending on the outside conditions. The control system also manages the shutters in order to reduce unpleasant glare by sun. There are sensors that automatically turn the lights off in situation when nobody is in the room. The LITENET provides the illuminance level of 500 lx at workplaces. The use of this solution reduces energy consumption for lighting in building by about 40%. Integration of lighting with BMS was based on the BACnet standard.
