BiliCare distribute better and ho-mogeneous light penetration than conventional photothe-rapy units around the whole body surface area. 02 BiliCare Intensive Phototherapy BiliCare provides 360º complete and intensive treatment which eliminates most of the blood Exchange transfusions for the infants. One of the key points in the practical execution of pho-totheapy is the distance between infant and light source. Bilicare offers 360º whole body illumination and high irra-diance with unique design. BiliCare is incorporated with a manuel or automatic (op-tional) distance control with the movement of the upper section of the light source. This eliminates athe risk of over-heating while allowing better ventilation around the infant. BiliCare Intensive Phototherapy Emits their light in the range of most cilinical effective range of 450-470 nm. Covers the most peak absorption wavelenght (458 nm) at which bilirubins broken down. Do not emits light in the ultraviolet (UV) range which is reducing the potential risk of skin damage. Do not emit light in the infrared radiation (IR) range reducing the potential risk of fluid loss.
