Quality from the start Guaranteed to stay looking great When investing in a new door or window system, frame material and strength should be a huge consideration. In order to give it a ﬂawless ﬁnish, our aluminium is coated with the highest grade powder available. At Origin, we manufacture our Doors, Windows and Blind cassettes using a premium grade aluminium. Offering innate strength, ﬂexible design possibilities as well as optimum longevity, aluminium also brings the added beneﬁts of being maintenance free, energy efficient and highly durable, so it won t ﬂex, warp or corrode in differing weather conditions. Applied using an electrostatic process after a special pre-treatment, it is then cured at 200 C to form a robust coating that is tougher than conventional paint, whilst maintaining a completely smooth surface. The powder coat ﬁnish is extremely hardwearing and is resistant to scratches and colour fading for optimum longevity, and this is just one of the reasons why a product from Origin is guaranteed to look good for a long time... 20 years to be precise. While there are many different grades of aluminium available, what makes Origin s superior is the way the profile is made and powder coated. Origin only use prime billets of aluminium, meaning that it has not been produced through re-melting scraps. Capture the natural effect of wood Our woodgrain colours offer the beauty of real wood without having to worry about the maintenance, expansion or warping. How s it possible? The secret s in the special heat transfer process. The aluminium is powder coated as a base colour, and is then wrapped in a containing film which creates a vacuum for perfect adhesion. It s then cured in a high temperature oven, which transfers the ink on the film onto the base surface - in this case, creating a wood grain effect. Once cooled, the film is removed to leave a finish that not only resembles genuine wood, but offers a 20 year guarantee for optimum peace of mind. With minimal maintenance required, that s even better than the real thing.
